NISSHIN Oillio Nissin Oliyo canola oil how about brand introduction

In addition to the freshness of the ingredients, the light taste of the oil can highlight the original taste of the food, and the pursuit of health by the Japanese is also better than that of North American consumers, so canola oil, which has the characteristics of light and healthy, is quite popular in the Japanese market, with a market share of nearly 47%, and is the No. 1 vegetable oil in Japan. With a history of 100 years, Nissin Oriyo is one of the leaders, and its household edible oil sales have long occupied the first place, and it is the first brand of edible oil in Japan.

As a leading edible oil company in Japan, Nissin Oriyo has four production bases in Japan, including the Yokohama Isogo Factory, the Nagoya Factory, the Mizushima Factory, and the Kai Factory. Since its establishment in 1999, the Nagoya Plant has been an important production and logistics base, and Nissin Oriyo cooking oil is produced here. The factory has a full set of automatic machinery, covering the entire production process of soybeans and rapeseed from oil extraction to refining, and can produce 200 bottles of oil per minute, which is extremely efficient.

At the Yokohama Isogo Plant, a technology development center, a central research institute, and an intellectual property department are set up to provide technical support for edible oils and other products, and in the field of canola oil, Nissin Oriyo uses a patented process that includes an antioxidant process and a refreshing and light process. Antioxidant process, also known as fresh-keeping sealing process, domestic manufacturers generally add TBHQ antioxidants, but this antioxidant is prohibited in Japanese law, Nissin Oriyo is filled with nitrogen instead of filling, by reducing the oxygen concentration in the bottle, the speed of oil oxidation slows down, ensures the stability of the oil before opening, and extends the shelf life, the principle is the same as filling the bag with nitrogen.

High-temperature frying is a unique cooking habit in China, especially for Cantonese people who pursue "heat" in cooking, while Japan has more experience in cold food, and most of the requirements for vegetable oil are light and refreshing. The taste of edible oil is light or not, depending on the refining temperature in the production process, the temperature is too high to make the oil produce a "smell" when heated, one of the characteristics of Nissin Oriyo's light and refreshing process is to refine in a low temperature environment to prevent oil oxidation, reduce the oil taste, and use it as a stir-fried vegetable to highlight the umami of the ingredients. Another feature is the use of activated carbon filter, the vegetable oil is filtered and purified like water, so that its texture is light and clear, and the freshness has been rated as "the most refreshing" in many evaluations.

Nissin Oriyo canola oil is divided into two series: domestic and Japanese original imports, the raw materials used in the two are different, the domestic series uses low canola produced in China, and the Japanese original imported series uses Canadian canola as raw materials, the latter has an oleic acid content of more than 60% higher than the former, and the polyunsaturated fatty acid content of high oleic acid vegetable oil is higher, which is more effective in reducing the risk of heart disease. The domestic series has two specifications, 1L and 5L, and the Japanese original imported series are sold in domestic e-commerce, including 900g, 1kg and 1.3kg, which are more suitable for families with a large number of people. In addition, there are also environmentally friendly ecological packaging, nutritional functional food canola oil and other products in Japan, but only on the basis of the original packaging is more environmentally friendly, adding vitamins, etc., there is no obvious effect, but the price is much higher, not worth recommending.

Nissin Oliyo set foot in the Chinese market in 1988 and established "Dalian Nissin Oil Co., Ltd.", but its development in China has been tepid, the main reason is that the pricing is high, the domestic series is reasonable, 5L is sold for about 70 yuan, but the original imported canola oil 900g is more than 50 yuan, if the daily diet is light and the budget is sufficient, it is quite a good choice. It is also worth mentioning that there are many well-known companies in Japan, such as Nissin Foods, Nissin Milling, Nissin Textiles, etc., which bear the name of "Nissin", but Nissin Oriyo has nothing to do with them.
