Unexpectedly, the amino acid industry is also struggling with overcapacity. Eppen Biotech posted huge net profit losses in both 2013 and the first seven months of 2014. It was also sued by the global amino acid giant CJ CheilJedang Co., Ltd. for patent infringement, and the lawsuit lasted two years, and the two parties finally reached a settlement. But this also affected Meihua's acquisition of Eppen Bio, and Meihua finally announced the cessation of purchase. Interestingly, in 2016, Xijie also wanted to acquire the shares of Meihua Biology, but it also failed to take shape, and the love and killing of these three in the field of amino acids is still to be continued.
