How about Knife Marking Cooking Oil Brand introduction

Knife mark is the largest brand of edible oil in Hong Kong, and has long been deeply rooted in the hearts of the people in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, with sales accounting for 30% of the Hong Kong edible oil market and about 17% of the Shenzhen market, and has been rated as an Asian super brand by Reader's Digest for 6 consecutive years. In terms of scale and revenue, Lam Soon, the parent company of Knife Mark, is a well-deserved leader in Hong Kong's food industry, but Lam Soon is not limited to the Hong Kong market, with only 14.88% of its revenue in the 2016/2017 financial year coming from the Hong Kong and Macau markets, and the other 85.12% coming from the mainland market. With the expansion of Lam Soon's market channels in recent years, the recognition of its products in the mainland market has gradually increased, and the knife mark has also expanded from South China to the North China and Central China markets.

The types of edible oil are not abundant, but the products are eye-catching, especially the blended oil, which fully considers the nutritional value of the oil. Previously, China's blended oil had been questioned due to the unclear composition ratio, but in 2018, a new national standard was introduced, requiring brands to indicate the proportion of various vegetable oils, and standardizing the labeling of blended oil products. Under the supervision of the new standard, a more nutritionally balanced blended oil should be more recommended than a single oil type.

Among the knife mark blended oils, peanut and flaxseed oil are the most noteworthy. Peanut oil is an edible oil with a balanced ratio of saturated fatty acids, monounsaturated fatty acids and polyunsaturated fatty acids, but does not contain omega-3 fatty acids, while flaxseed oil is rich in omega-3 essential fatty acids and is the most nutrient-rich of all edible oils. After 90% peanut oil is mixed with 10% flaxseed oil, the nutritional value of the oil is improved, and the proportion of fatty acids is healthier. Since the single oil of the knife mark is a pressed first-class edible oil, with a pure aroma, the knife mark peanut flaxseed oil blends the rich peanut oil with the clear flaxseed oil to form a refreshing and unique flavor with peanut aroma, but 4.68L is about 145 yuan, which is more than 50 yuan more expensive than other blended oils of the same brand.

Corn flaxseed oil is similar to peanut flaxseed oil, but the omega-6:omega-3 fatty acid ratio and flavor are slightly inferior to peanut flaxseed oil. Sunflower olive oil and canola olive oil increased the proportion of monounsaturated fatty acids in the oils by adding 5% and 10% virgin olive oil, respectively. The ratio of omega-6:omega-3 fatty acids in sunflower oil was too high, the content of monounsaturated fatty acids was low, and the ratio of fatty acids was not improved much after the addition of olive oil. Canola olive oil has a healthier fatty acid ratio, rich in monounsaturated fatty acids, and less than 4:1 omega-6:ω−3.

In addition to peanut flaxseed oil, the price of knife mark blended oil is relatively affordable, slightly lower than similar products with flaxseed oil or olive oil, 4.68L is about 90 yuan, but its fragrance is weaker than other single oil products of the same brand.

The single vegetable oils of the knife mark are peanut oil, corn oil, sunflower oil and canola oil, all of which have a pure aroma. Among them, the peanut raw material has a rich and sweet aroma after being lightly fried, which is different from the paste flavor of Luhua and orchid flowers, if you only want peanut oil with the right fragrance, it is recommended to try knife mark peanut oil.

Among the single oils, high oleic peanut oil is the most concerned product. The oleic acid content of ordinary peanut oil is about 48%, and the oleic acid (monounsaturated fatty acids) content of this peanut oil reaches more than 60%, although the oleic acid content of Luhua high oleic peanut oil is lower, but the price is much more affordable, 4.68L is about 155 yuan, only 10 yuan higher than the ordinary peanut oil of the same specification.

Corn oil, sunflower oil and canola oil are good choices for light taste, among the three oils, canola oil has the healthiest proportion of fatty acids, and canola oil has a high smoke point, which can be used for high-temperature cooking such as frying, and is more suitable for Chinese dishes, 4.68L is about 85 yuan.
