Boda is a local brand in Henan, and it can be regarded as supporting half of the sky in the Henan noodle product market, and the medium-temperature and medium-speed single-tunnel drying process currently used has been imitated by other local brands.
Boda noodles are claimed to be made entirely of wheat core flour, but in fact, the "all" here refers to the use of wheat core flour in all products, and not all products are made of 100% wheat core flour. In the ingredient list of Boda dried noodles, wheat core flour only accounts for 30% of the flour content, compared with the 100% wheat core flour products of big brands such as Arowana and Xiangxue, the surface quality of Boda dried noodles is not excellent. Of course, compared to other somen noodles made with only plain flour, the large noodles are more transparent and do not mix with the soup when cooked.
This kind of "edge ball" also appears in egg noodles, claiming to use fresh eggs and noodles, but in fact, the egg content is only 0.6%, and the taste is basically the same as some egg noodles with 1% egg powder.
The flavor noodle series and the green food series are both broad best-selling series, and the flavor noodles pursue different tastes created by different doughs, from 1.5mm thin round noodles to 8mm wide flat noodles, each corresponding to a different flavor of noodles, and the choice is richer. The green food series is characterized by the addition of different flavors, buckwheat, shiitake mushrooms, corn, and egg flavors. The price of both is not cheap, a bag of 500g of flavored noodles is close to 9 yuan, and the price of 1000g of green series is about 14 yuan.
Boda noodles take the high-end route, but the quality is not outstanding, the price is not low, and even in all brands are more expensive, 1000g is close to 15 yuan, which is not the best choice for users who pursue cost performance.
