Founded in 1921, Sanritsu Seika Co., Ltd. is a large-scale food manufacturer in Japan, and its main products include cake pies, cookies, and biscuits, especially the layer cakes and waffles it produces are widely acclaimed.
 
In 1979, Sanli released the "Cookdasse" series of products, which are cookies with a filling, similar to Shiroibii, which is also composed of two slices of cat's tongue cookies and chocolate filling, so it is called the affordable version of Shiroibii.
 
Sanli Sandwich Cookies come in white and dark chocolate flavors, plus a matcha flavor than Shiroi Koibii.
