Xiamen Gulong Food Co., Ltd., formerly known as Xiamen Canning Factory, was founded in 1954 and is the first public-private canning factory in Fujian Province. In the era of planned economy, enterprises did not have the right to export independently, and the Xiamen Canning Factory used COFCO's "Daffodil Brand" trademark to produce canned products, which has a high reputation overseas. After the reform and opening up, Xiamen Canning Factory took "Gulangyu" Hokkien dialect as the homonym to create its own brand - "Gulong", which means that the enterprise was born in "Gulangyu". At present, Xiamen Gulong, Shanghai Meilin and Guangzhou Eagle Money are the only three state-owned canned food enterprises in China's canned food industry.

The mushroom pork knuckle leg has the characteristics of southern Fujian, including pork knuckle and pig trotters, and the bone and meat are loose and soft. The rest of the canned foods such as braised button meat and pork shoots are mostly decent, and the price of each can is basically within 20 yuan.
