Guangming, formerly known as Kedi Milk Company, which was established in Shanghai in 1911 by British businessmen, is now the strongest dairy enterprise in East China, ranking third in terms of revenue among dairy enterprises in China, second only to Yili and Mengniu, and is one of the representatives of regional dairy enterprises. In 2008, when the "melamine" incident in China's dairy industry was exposed, the Bright brand was not involved, and there have been no major dairy safety accidents for many years.
 
In 2009, Bright launched the first room temperature yogurt Moslian in the Chinese market, which quickly became a best-selling dairy category, and also triggered other brands to quickly follow suit and further expand their market capacity. The biggest significance of room temperature yogurt is that it breaks through the limitations of the cold chain of traditional low-temperature yogurt, reduces logistics costs, and can be sold more to third- and fourth-tier cities and counties, and can also become a new type of school milk.
 
The Moslian product type is classified as "pasteurized heat-treated flavored yogurt", which has two meanings, indicating that ambient yoghurt is pasteurized and heat-treated. The yogurt produced in this way can be stored at room temperature for several months after being aseptically packaged, so it is also referred to as room temperature yogurt. However, in addition to the possible pathogenic bacteria, Streptococcus thermophilus and Lactobacillus bulgaricus and other probiotics in yogurt were also killed, almost not improving the function of the intestinal flora, and only the normal nutritional value of yogurt.
 
The name Moslian comes from the famous yogurt village of Moslian, Bulgaria, but the Moslian products themselves have little to do with the village, only using local strains, the production is still in China, and the milk source also comes from Guangming's own pasture. Moslian uses the common Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus to ferment, even if the culture from the village of Moslian has no other additional health effects after heat treatment, and Moslian itself is just an ordinary food, not the so-called "longevity food" of Bulgaria.
 
In addition to the classic original flavor, Moslian yogurt also has rose, 2 fruits and 3 vegetables mixed fruits and vegetables and other flavors, using the latest Tetra Pak diamond bag, compared with similar Tetra Pak packaging, more sturdy and delicate, Chun Zhen and Ambrosia also used this packaging after its launch. The overall nutritional value of Moslian yogurt is acceptable, and the 100g component of the original flavor contains 2.7g of protein, 2.8g of fat, 12.5g of carbohydrates, and the total caloric value is 362kJ/100g. Moslian packaging indicates that the amount of lactic acid bacteria added is greater than 106 CFU/g, which is a spring and autumn penmanship, all lactic acid bacteria will be killed after heat treatment, indicating that the amount of viable bacteria has a suggestive induction effect on consumers, but has no practical significance.
 
As with regular flavoured yogurt, Moslian uses thickeners and other ingredients to harmonize the mouthfeel, mainly gelatin and pectin. Thickeners are widely used in food and are very safe for compliant use. Both Ambrosia and Moslian use this solution, and both products are on the same gradient in nutritional value and have a viscous texture.
 
Although Moslian seized the opportunity in the market, Guangming was far inferior to Yili and Mengniu in the development of room temperature milk channels, and the investment in marketing and advertising was insufficient, and the sales growth rate in 2016 was far inferior to that of Chunzhen and Anmuxi, and its market position was surpassed.
