Founded in 1999, the Kashi brand is affiliated to Shenzhen Luxue Bioengineering Co., Ltd., which is mainly engaged in liquid milk (yogurt) business. The Kashi brand focuses on high-end European-style yogurt, using high-end probiotic starter from Danish Chr. Hansen, and the product price is high. The business of Kas is concentrated in South China, the scope of product radiation is relatively small, and it has its own cold chain transportation logistics, and the overall transportation management is relatively strict.
 
The Custard brand itself has little to do with Europe, and its European style impression comes from brand marketing. Chr. Hansen is an advanced probiotic culture development company, and Chr. Hansen's latest product, Bifidobacterium C-1, contains one hour after a meal. The probiotic BB-12 Bifidobacterium BB-12, which is the main product of Mengniu's high-end product Guanyi Milk, is also from Chr. Hansen, and this strain has also been developed as a probiotic supplement to promote the intestinal health of infants and young children.
 
The milk source comes from local cooperative enterprises, such as Wen's Group's large-scale pastures in Dinghushan and Qingyuan, Zhaoqing, Guangdong, and the quality is relatively reliable. The nutritional content of local raw milk in Guangdong is worse than that in the northern pastoral areas, and Kashi increases the nutritional content of yogurt products by adding whey protein, cream, condensed milk and other blending components, which is one of the reasons why Kashi is more expensive.
 
The classification of Kashi products is relatively simple, fresh buttermilk is the basic series, with original, strawberry, blueberry and other flavors, and the average price of 100g specifications is 5~6 yuan. One hour after the meal, the original buttermilk, double egg white, and YOKEEP cheese buttermilk are high-end series, with a single package exceeding 10 yuan.
 
Fresh buttermilk series original flavor (yellow bottle) without whey protein, protein content 2.6g/100g, nutritional content in the lowest among the Custard products, but the price is also the cheapest, 120g specification 3 row price 11.9 yuan. Fresh buttermilk original flavor (blue bottle) is blended with other milk ingredients, the protein content reaches 3.3g/100g, and the price of 100g specification 3 rows is about 13 yuan. There is a difference in the nutrient content between the two, but after being seasoned with ingredients such as thickeners, the taste is almost the same. The nutritional composition of other blueberry and strawberry grains in the fresh buttermilk series is also similar to that of the original flavor (blue bottle), with the addition of fruit pieces, which makes the taste richer.
 
The original buttermilk is packaged in PET plastic bottles, which looks more upscale than the carton packaging of the fresh buttermilk series. It is a set yoghurt, i.e. it is fermented in individual packages after filling, and has a higher consistency than stirred yogurt. The nutritional content of the original buttermilk is slightly higher than that of fresh buttermilk, but the price is much more expensive, and the added sugar content is higher, the carbohydrate content is 14g/100g, and the price of 125g*3 cups is 29.5 yuan.
 
In order to cater to the differentiated needs of high-end consumer groups, Custard has also launched the high-protein YO KEEP, double protein series and one hour after meals, which focus on intestinal health, raising the price of yogurt to a new level.
 
YO KEEP series yogurt is more inclined to the traditional Greek yogurt making method, that is, dewhey yogurt, and the price is very high, with a single cup of 80g priced at about 17.5 yuan. YO KEEP yogurt is the opposite of the original sweetened yogurt, with only five fermented bacteria and milk. YO KEEP self-disciplined life version uses skim milk, no added sugar, 100g of yogurt contains 9g of protein, 120mg of calcium, zero fat content, and only 221kJ of calories, which is about half an apple (100g). The self-discipline life version has a sour taste, zero fat makes the yogurt smooth, and if it is not suitable for drinking empty, it can be eaten with fruits and cereals.
 
Custard has always taken multi-probiotics as the main selling point of its products, each product has more than 5 kinds of probiotics, especially one hour after a meal, and its high price relies on Custard's unique bifidobacterium C-1. However, although the efficacy of probiotics has been verified in scientific experiments, it does not mean that yogurt probiotics also have such an effect, and it is actually difficult to achieve the effect of manufacturer publicity, and we do not recommend paying a high premium for probiotic yogurt.
