Founded in 1992, Xia Jin is a typical regional dairy enterprise with an annual production capacity of 300,000 tons of dairy products from Saishang Ranch at 38 degrees north latitude, mainly sold in Shaanxi, Gansu and Ningxi Northwest Provinces. Xia Jin used to manufacture its own brand milk for Carrefour, but it was found that the quality was unqualified and was taken off the shelves by Carrefour.
 
Ningxia is not the main milk producing area in China, but there are more than 300,000 dairy cows, the milk source is relatively reliable and stable, and the per capita milk consumption ranks second in the country. Xia Jin was the first dairy enterprise in Ningxia to expand outside the region, relying on the northwest market to penetrate the North China market, but due to the lack of brand awareness, the price competitiveness was not as good as that of large dairy enterprises such as Yili and Mengniu, and the market expansion failed.
 
Xiajin Milk is mainly sold in Shaanxi, Gansu and Ningxia, with pasteurized milk and room temperature milk production lines, and has a high brand awareness in the three northwestern provinces. Xia Jin has good pasture resources, and the basic product Xia Jin pure milk 100ml contains 3g of protein, 3.5g of fat and 4.7g of carbohydrates, which is slightly lower than Yili aseptic brick pure milk. The Xia Jin brand prefers plastic bottle milk packaging, which is acceptable for local sales, but is not conducive to long-distance transportation and is not as stable as Tetra Pak boxes.
 
Xia Jin also has a high-end room temperature milk plug on the ranch, organic pure milk series, using Tetra Pak aseptic brick packaging, the overall nutritional value is a step higher than the basic series, protein up to 3.5g/100ml, calcium 120mg/100ml, and Jindian organic milk is the same level, 250ml specifications 10 boxes are priced at 86 yuan.
 
The price of Xia Jin milk in Shaanxi, Gansu and Ningbo is flat and preferential, but it is difficult to buy in other regions, and the online purchase price is slightly higher, and its basic and organic milk series are lower than Yili's products with the same positioning. If it is not in Shaanxi, Gansu and Ningxia, you can choose other more cost-effective room temperature milk.
