Founded in 2009 by Yao Tongshan, former executive director of Mengniu, Shengmu is the largest organic dairy company in China. The whole line of Shengmu liquid milk products are organic milk, and there are few types of single products, and there are only three types of milk at room temperature: organic pure milk, organic low-fat pure milk and organic children's milk. The price of Shengmu organic milk is similar to that of Yili Jindian organic milk, with a protein content of 3.5g/100ml, a fat content of 4.1g/100ml, and a calcium content of 110mg/100ml, which is slightly less than that of Jindian, but they are all high-end room temperature milk of the same echelon.
 
Shengmu organic low-fat milk is more expensive than full-fat milk, but the protein and calcium content are also lower, and the overall nutritional value is also reduced. Low-fat milk is low in saturated fat, but it also loses some vitamins, and the milk taste is not as good as whole milk.

However, as mentioned above, organic milk is not more nutritious than ordinary milk, nor is it the same as safer, and "organic" is more of a "high-end" production method.
 
Milk with high nutritional value can be obtained in a scientific way of feeding, and organic milk is not necessarily of high quality. The 2016 Dietary Guidelines for Chinese Residents recommend that adults drink more than 300ml of milk per day to supplement protein and calcium, but most people do not reach this amount. It's understandable to pay a higher price for premium milk products, but at this stage we recommend increasing your daily dairy intake, and for most people, it makes more sense to buy more cost-effective regular milk than to pursue "premium organic milk".
