Guangming, formerly known as Kedi Milk Company, which was established in Shanghai in 1911 by British businessmen, is now the strongest dairy enterprise in East China, ranking third in terms of revenue among dairy enterprises in China, second only to Yili and Mengniu, and is one of the representatives of regional dairy enterprises. Bright's revenue in 2017 was 21.672 billion, although it is far less than the two giants of China's dairy industry, but it is already the regional dairy enterprise with the highest market value. Guangming has established SKLDB, the only state key laboratory in China's dairy industry, to research and develop new dairy technologies.
In 2008, when the "melamine" incident in China's dairy industry was exposed, there were no problems detected in Guangming's products, and there were no major dairy safety accidents for many years. Compared with Yili and Mengniu, Guangming has the geographical advantage of East China, has better control over the local milk source, is better at operating pasteurized milk for urban distribution, and has its own cold chain logistics company, Lingxian Logistics.
Guangming room temperature milk is slightly worse than Yili and Mengniu, and the category is relatively simple, but it is also remarkable. Bright pure milk is a basic product, cost-effective, its protein and calcium content are at the same level as Yili aseptic bricks, but the milk fat content is slightly lower, which is related to the relative shortage of high-quality feed sources in East China.
Guangming You series of room temperature milk is an advanced product, and the milk source comes from Guangming exclusive pastures in Dezhou, Shandong and Qiqihar, Heilongjiang. After Guangming launched the excellent 3.3g/100ml pure milk, it also released the excellent upgraded version of the diamond pack with the same protein content (3.6g/100ml) as Jindian and Trensu. Like Bright Basic Pure Milk, the Premium Series has a slightly lower fat content and a lighter milk taste, making it more suitable for consumers who prefer the taste of evaporated milk.
Bright Organic Pure Milk comes from Heilongjiang Qiqihar Kedong Organic Ranch, with the same protein content of 3.6g/100ml, but the fat content is slightly lower, and the price is similar to that of Jindian Organic Milk. The specification of Bright Organic Pure Milk is 200ml, and generally lactose intolerant people will not have bloating when drinking 200ml of milk at a time, and the small package is more suitable for lactose intolerant people, which is convenient to drink at one time.
