Han Show Theatre - Institutional Reviews

For tourists who like stage shows, "Han Show" is a good choice. "Han Show" is a large-scale stage show created by Wanda Group and Frank Dragone Entertainment Group.

The shape of the Han Show Theater resembles a big red lantern, which stands out from the surrounding buildings. The architecture and stage of the theatre were designed by internationally renowned designer Mark Fisher, who was invited to be the artistic director of the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, and the 2012 London Olympic Games. The Han Show Stage uses a large number of high-tech elements, such as a large LED screen that can be flown and moved, an underwater lifting platform and lifting seats. The use of these technologies not only makes the use of stage special effects more convenient, but also enhances the opportunity for the stage to interact with the audience.

Frank Dragone, the chief director of the Han Show, is the core planner of Cirque du Soleil, who has planned and designed some of the world's most prestigious stage shows. There are various forms of Han Xiu performances, and the performers present the artistic themes of Han Xiu through various forms of expression such as stage plays, acrobatics, water ballet, and high diving, but this also leads to the weak storytelling of Han Xiu. The special effects that revolve around water are a major feature of the Han Show. The performance pool on stage can hold the water of four Olympic-sized pools, allowing 230 fountains to operate at the same time. During the performance, the audience was able to truly feel the scene of heavy rain, which was quite shocking. In addition, air effects and lighting effects are also used in conjunction with the actors' performances to bring the audience a highly sensory stimulation of the viewing enjoyment.

Compared with the various cool special effects and acrobatic performances of the Han Show, the presentation of its content is slightly insufficient, and the storytelling of the performance is slightly weaker. For tourists who pay more attention to the connotation of the performance, it may be a little disappointing.
