Like the ancestral name, Baiyu is also a soybean product brand, but Baiyu is the only Chinese time-honored brand among the brands on the list, which was formerly known as Beijing Soybean Products No. 2 Factory, and now belongs to Beijing Ershang Group and South Korea's Xijie Group. In general, large-scale political conferences and sports meetings held in Beijing, Bai Yu can be seen, and in 2008, its tofu and soybean milk series were special foods for the Olympic Games.
There are nearly 2,000 sales outlets in Beijing, and there are not many soybean milk flavors, mainly pure soybean milk and sweetened soybean milk, and only two flavors: original and black bean.
Baiyu soybean milk is divided into organic series and classic series, and the main difference between the two is the soy milk formula. The organic series is divided into sugar-free alcohol-free soybean milk and sweet mellow soy milk, with a protein content of higher than 4.0g/100ml and a high nutritional value, and the protein content of the classic series of soybean milk is 2.5g/100ml, which is comparable to the Weizhen series of Doubendou.
The cost of organic series is higher than that of ordinary soybeans, and they are all in glass bottles, with a maximum price of about 10 yuan/330ml. Among them, sugar-free alcohol-free soy milk is the most basic soy milk, with the lowest calories, which is most suitable for people who control sugar. The classic series is packed in plastic bottles, but the price is not close to the people, about 5.5 yuan/280ml.
Due to the short shelf life of Baiyu soybean milk, 60 days under 0-10 °C storage conditions and 30 days at room temperature, the offline supply of Baiyu soybean milk is mainly in Beijing, Tianjin, Shijiazhuang and other surrounding areas, rather than a large-scale distribution of beans across the country.
