Laoshan is the site of a Quaternary ancient glacier millions of years ago, and moraines containing trace elements such as strontium and potassium were transported by the glacier to form a high-quality mineral spring under the erosion of rainwater. For many years, the spring water is hidden at a depth of 100 meters underground, and is slowly filtered through compact granite to obtain a high metasilicic acid content. Due to the tight granite texture, the difficulty and high cost of drilling wells, the yield rate of Laoshan mineral water is not high, and the annual output of a well is only 18,000 tons, which is difficult to produce on a large scale, so it has not been able to get out of Qingdao, and the national reputation is low. Since 2016, under the guidance of the "13th Five-Year Plan", Laoshan Mineral Water has added three production bases in the Laoshan area, increasing the annual bottled water production capacity by one million barrels, and at the same time developing new products such as soft water, soda water, and flavored water.
Laoshan mineral water has three types of gold mineral water, treasure mineral water and water drop glass bottle aerated mineral water, mining depth, mineral content rises, but the difference is subtle, so the most affordable gold mine series is the most popular, 600ml sells for 2.5 yuan.
