Vecozuivel | Windmill Ranch Room Temperature Milk How about foreign brands introduced

Founded in 1974, Vecozuivel is a small family-owned dairy company that has been producing organic milk since 1998 and has 389.4 hectares of organic farmland. According to the statistics of Data Center Holland in 2014, its brand Vecozuivel occupies 73.6% of the organic liquid milk market in the Netherlands, and is also the organic milk brand with the highest sales volume on Tmall. Lehe's other brand, Flevomel, is positioned in the ordinary milk market and is more cost-effective.

The Netherlands is the world's second-largest exporter of agricultural products, after the United States, with high agricultural and animal husbandry yields, with one cow and one pig per capita. The Dutch dairy industry is different from the development model of China's dairy industry, the government encourages family farms to raise dairy cows, with an average farm size of 98 heads and an average yield of 8,400 kg of dairy cows. The consumption of cheese in European countries such as the Netherlands is significant, and raw milk is more processed into high-end dairy products such as cheese, and the requirements for the nutrient content of the unit of direct drinking liquid milk are not so high, but it can usually reach the protein content level of 3.5g/100ml, which exceeds the basic milk level of Mengniu and Yili.

Lehe organic milk has passed the triple organic certification of the European Union, the Netherlands and China, and has not been found to contain pesticides, hormones and other pollutants in the proprietary organic pasture for 24 consecutive years since it obtained the EU organic certification in 1994.

Lehe whole fat organic milk protein 3.5g/100ml, fat 3.5g/100ml, calcium 120mg/100ml, to reach the level of nutritional value of high-quality milk. High-quality milk depends on a good breeding environment, which not only ensures high nutritional value, but also improves the flavor of the milk. The dairy cows in Lehe's own pasture are very well raised, mainly grass-fed, and each cow has at least 210 days and 12 hours of stocking time per year, paying great attention to animal welfare. Compared with the intensively raised cows, Lehe cows have fewer diseases such as mastitis, and the milk produced is more healthy and hygienic. Lehe organic milk has a strong natural milk flavor, and full nutrition and grass-fed milk make the milk taste very soft and slightly grassy.

Lehe's organic milk production is limited, the export volume is not much, mainly positioning high-end liquid milk products, because of the high price, almost twice the price of ordinary milk, the sales volume is not high, the brand awareness in the Chinese market is low, offline only in high-end supermarkets.

Lehe's other windmill ranch milk is not organic milk, its nutritional value Lehe organic milk is the same, but the price is much cheaper, the price of windmill ranch milk is about 14.5 yuan/L, and the price of organic milk is about 25 yuan/L, the price difference is nearly doubled. Imported milk is usually sold in 1L large packages, which are more cost-effective, but they cannot be drunk at one time and must be stored in the refrigerator, while 200ml small packages are more convenient to drink at one time, and a single bottle is about 8.5 yuan.

The Dutch market mainly consumes pasteurized milk, and Lehe fresh milk is more popular in the Netherlands, but the organic milk exported by the Lehe brand is UHT sterilized milk. After UHT sterilization, the taste and color of the milk will change, resulting in a unique "cooking taste", which is far less delicious than pasteurized milk. Affected by the UHT process, the gap between organic milk and ordinary warm milk will be significantly reduced, and it is difficult for people who do not drink milk regularly to distinguish the "good and bad" taste of milk.

Is it a waste of money to buy organic milk for milk with the same nutritional content? Not necessarily, organic milk generally has stricter environmental control measures, and the risk of contamination is relatively low. Nutritional composition is not the only consideration when consumers make purchasing decisions, and people who are accustomed to high-end consumption have higher requirements for products as a whole, and there is nothing undesirable if they are willing to pay more for organic.

It is worth noting that Lehe organic milk is produced by Globemilk in the Netherlands, and the processing plant represented by "NL Z0965 EG" on its packaging belongs to Globemilk, which is very common in the food processing industry.
