Big Wave Bay Swim - Agency Reviews

Big Wave Bay Beach
The water quality of Big Wave Bay meets the hygiene requirements, but the E. coli sub-index is weaker than the other beaches in this list. Big Wave Bay is characterized by large enough waves, and due to the fierce waves throughout the year, it is the most famous surf spot in Hong Kong, which is a must-see for those with high skills.
Visitors with poor swimming skills can enjoy the activities near the coast, and it is best not to rush into the sea. The beach facilities are sufficient, and there are many shops and restaurants on the west side of the beach. You might as well buy drinks, rent parasols, and play in the sand and see the sea. It is worth mentioning that there are hiking trails near the beach and stone carvings on the cliffs on the shore, so if you don't want to get tired, you can prepare ingredients for a barbecue feast, and the beach is equipped with 20 barbecue grills.
The average number of visitors per day is less than 250 on weekdays and more than 1,000 on holidays. Big Wave Bay may not be suitable for swimming, but the facilities are excellent and worth a special visit. In terms of transportation, you can choose to transfer to bus No. 9 at Exit A3 of Shau Kei Wan MTR Station.
