As a giant in the food industry, Nestlé launched instant coffee as early as the thirties of the last century and brought it to the Chinese market in the eighties, which played an enlightening role in Chinese coffee culture, and in the eyes of some, Nestlé represents coffee. In 2018, Nestlé and Starbucks turned enemies into friends and spent $7.15 billion to acquire exclusive marketing rights for Starbucks-related coffee products.
 
China is Nestle's second largest market, with more types of instant coffee than any coffee brand, six series, a total of more than a dozen instant coffees, commonly found in supermarkets or convenience stores, but in the eyes of consumers, Nestle takes the mass route and generally does not have a high grade. In order to change this stereotype, in recent years, Nestlé has used grinding technology to improve product quality and launched Gold Medal Black Coffee.
 
The traditional Nescaine black coffee only has one alcohol, and now the new gold medal black coffee is more specialized than the alcohol black coffee, with exquisite materials, Arabica coffee beans, blended with micro-ground coffee, and extracted by freeze-drying process, after brewing, it releases a mellow and delicate coffee original aroma. Although it is added with grinding ingredients, the content in it is only 3%, which seems to be just a gimmick. The packaging of black coffee is large-capacity packaging in glass bottles, with a price of about 50 yuan, and the alcohol capacity is 100 grams and the gold medal black coffee is 50 grams.
 
There are many flavors of 3-in-1 coffee, including the classic 1 2 series, and there are also new flavor collection series that have been introduced, but unfortunately, without exception, the use of lower-cost non-dairy creamer in the formula, commonly known as "creamer", to replace the role of milk in 3-in-1 coffee, is not as good as the formula of Starbucks VIA series that uses milk powder. The packaging of 3-in-1 instant coffee is all in bags, one pack at a time, which is convenient to eat. There are various packaging combinations, and there are often promotional activities, ranging from 1.5~4 yuan per package.
