UCC invented the world's first canned coffee, and the first product to be recognized by the Chinese people is probably the Hanging Ear Coffee Craftsman series, a filter coffee between instant coffee and specialty coffee. In China, the UCC series is clear, mainly selling black coffee, supplemented by 3-in-1 instant coffee. The most popular products are black coffee, which is divided into blend series and artisan series. UCC hired a coffee appraiser to select the right blend from 500 coffee samples, balancing acidity and bitterness to create signature coffees 117 and 114, as well as charcoal-grilled and Blue Mountain flavors. 114, 113 and charcoal have a stronger sour taste, while 118, 117 and charcoal coffee have a stronger bitter taste than 114 and 113. In the craftsman series, the green label has more bitterness than the red label and is not as sour as the red label. If you're not used to black coffee, UCC also sells sugar balls, creamer balls and other coffee companions to blend flavors.
The black coffee sold in China is sealed in glass bottles, and Blue Mountain instant coffee is the most refined, with the highest price and the smallest capacity, selling for about 250 yuan for 38 grams. The best-selling 114, 117 and charcoal coffee, about 100 grams of instant coffee powder, cost less than 100 yuan. In addition, a combined gift box is also available, which makes it more decent to give gifts. It is recommended to drink it within one month of opening to avoid moisture and affect the flavor of the coffee.
Sweet 3-in-1 instant coffee is not UCC's fist product, the product category is far inferior to black coffee, and the packaging form is only in strips, mainly charcoal 3-in-1 coffee and comprehensive 3-in-1 coffee. The coffee beans used in the charcoal roasting series have more charcoal roasting links, with smoke and incense, and consumers with unique tastes can buy and try it, but the price is 98 yuan, which is twice as expensive as the comprehensive three-in-one coffee at 49 yuan.
In Japan, the home base, UCC instant coffee has even more variety. It doesn't sell coffee in glass bottles like in China, but it also offers instant coffee in paper cups and plastic bags in Japan, making it easier to carry. In terms of variety, in addition to the types sold in China, there are also 3-in-1 instant coffee with its own sweetness and instant coffee with 100% Brazilian coffee beans. If you're sensitive to caffeine, UCC also offers decaffeinated instant coffee. The price is within 100 yuan, but it needs to be purchased overseas.
