Yiyi Tian is a brand of Yili, which is benchmarked against Mengniu Youyi C, and its full line of products are active lactic acid bacteria drinks. The Yitian series was officially launched in 2012, competing with brands such as Mengniu and Weiquan. Low-temperature dairy products have always been Yili's relative weakness, and its market share is slightly lower than that of Mengniu.
Like Youyi C, the product also adopts a long-term fermentation process, and the color of the product is brownish. After the launch of Yiyitian, Yili has continuously launched new products, such as the low-sugar version of erythritol and the drinking yogurt pure day. The product is very distinctive, but it doesn't sell well.
In 2018, the product line was streamlined and only 3 products were introduced, namely the original flavor of the product, the low-sugar original flavor and the passion fruit flavor. The new product upgraded by Yitian uses L.casei431, a strain jointly developed by Chr. Hansen and DuPont Danisco, and the nominal number of viable bacteria is increased to 60 billion per 100 ml, which "presses" Mengniu Yitian LC-37. According to the evaluation of the Shenzhen Consumer Council, the number of live lactic acid bacteria tested per Yitian original 60 billion live bacteria is 4.4 billion CFU/ml, second only to the Hong Kong version of Mengniu Youyi C.
The sugar content of each Yitian is also very high, 100ml of drink in addition to containing "100 billion lactic acid bacteria", there are 15.2g of sugar, the effect of probiotics may not be reflected after drinking, but the impact of high sugar is real.
