In today's U.S. market, Tito's is a rising star, as dazzling as old vodka such as Smirnoff and Absolut.
In 1995, Tito was founded in the United States as an original craft vodka and began to introduce artisanal vodka. It was originally made in a Texas brewery. By 2001, Tito's output exceeded the industry standard of 40,000 cases for craft distilleries as defined by the Distilled Spirits Association of America (DISCUS) and was no longer a microbrewery. In the same year, it won a double gold medal at the San Francisco Spirits Competition and expanded production.
In 2017, Tito's sales increased by 40% to 5.8 million cases, with sales exceeding $1 billion, tied with the famous international brands Hennessy, Jack Daniel's and Smirno. Tito, as a small brand, has a solid audience base in the American market.
Titovodka is made from corn rather than traditional cereals, so it is gluten-free and hypoallergenic. After each batch is produced, Tito insists on testing the product for taste, a process similar to that of fine Scotch single malt whisky and high-end French cognac, so that its quality remains stable for many years.
At the moment, Tito has only one product, a neutral vodka Tito's handmade vodka, with an alcohol content of 40%. In terms of tasting experience, the aroma includes white pepper and roasted corn, and on the palate it is smooth, moderately viscous, slightly sweet and black pepper, and on the aftertaste it is slightly oily and has a bacon flavor. Whether you're drinking it on the rocks or making a cocktail, it's a great way to do the job.
It is currently not available in China, and the price in the United States is around $25, which is a reasonable price.
