Belvedere vodka, named after the Belvedere Palace in Warsaw, is also known as Snow Tree Vodka in China, Belvedere means "beautiful view" in Polish. When it comes to Snow Tree Vodka, the most striking thing is its exquisite packaging design. The bottle is engraved with the Belvede Palace, with a clear texture of the dead tree with snow, extending from the sides to the middle, constituting its main image.
Snow Tree Vodka was founded in 1996 and is produced at the old Polmos Zyrardów distillery. With a history of more than 100 years, this distillery has produced well-known Polish vodka such as bison grass, and now it only produces snow tree vodka. The brew is made from Dankowskie rye, harvested on local farms – traditionally high-quality ingredients that give vodka nuts and bread flavours. Rye is distilled four times after distillation, followed by two filtrations, first using charcoal filtration and then finer mechanical filtration.
To get a better grasp of the water source, Snow Tree Vodka also has its own cenote. Poland has some of the strictest vodka production regulations in the world, officially requiring the production of vodka using specific Polish grains (or potatoes) and Polish water, and without the use of artificial additives. Therefore, Snow Tree Vodka uses only natural ingredients and contains no additives.
Most of Snow Tree's products have an alcohol content of 40%, and only Belvedere Vodka Intense has an alcohol content of 50%. There are currently 4 types of neutral vodkas, 2 of which are single-origin vodkas that are exclusively sold in premium bars and restaurants in select markets, as well as travel retail outlets. The neutral vodka Belvedere vodka is the core product, with a crystal-clear liquor with a slight toasty aroma, a medium-bodied wine with a creamy soft mouthfeel on the palate, with a hint of saltiness and cereals, and a long aftertaste. This award-winning piece won a silver medal at the 2018 San Francisco Spirits Competition.
The Flavored Vodka Maceration range has 6 flavors, using real fruits, macerating the fruit, mixing it with distilled alcohol, then distilling at low temperatures to form an impregnating concentrate, and then mixing it with the distillery's artesian well water to the bottling strength, before bottling, it is not filtered with charcoal, but with a paper filter to avoid the charcoal smell ruining the flavor of the fruit. The Maceration collection is represented by the Ginger Zest, a blend of ginger, lemon and grapefruit that delivers a mildly spicy taste, alternating between sourness and bitterness, and finally a delicate balance of flavours that are perfect for food and drink.
At present, only neutral vodka Belvedere Vodka can be bought online in China, and the price of a single bottle is 200 yuan. Although there is no advantage in terms of cost performance, its quality is excellent, and as a gift of foreign wine to relatives and friends, it can fully show the heart of the giver.
