At a time when Japanese rice cookers dominate the Chinese market, Dong Mingzhu, chairman of Gree, has created momentum for the newly-born Dasong, claiming that the performance of Dasong rice cookers is not inferior to that of Japanese products. The "duel" rendered by the media has successfully enhanced the popularity of Dasong. Subsequently, Damatsu gradually gained a place in the domestic market with reliable quality rice cookers. Gree Group, to which Dasong belongs, participated in the drafting of the "Energy Efficiency Limits and Energy Efficiency Grades of Rice Cookers" (GB12021.6-2017), and the cooking technology is relatively mature.
 
Midea and Supor have been playing in the domestic rice cooker market for many years, and they are well aware of the price boundaries of traditional rice cookers, and basically will not launch products that exceed 500 yuan. As a rising star, Damatsu launched the GDF-3018C, which costs about 1,400 yuan, and is obviously more optimistic about the market's affordability. However, Tiger has better performance products in the same price segment, while Panasonic has already laid out IH rice cookers, and Dasong GDF-3018C has no chance of winning. But at the price of 500 yuan, Dasong is not inferior to the mainstream brands on the market, and the main product GDF-4012D is equipped with citrine liner, which conducts heat evenly when cooking, and the temperature difference between the side wall of the inner tank and the bottom is small, and the cooked rice is more chewy.
 
Of course, Omatsu's business focus is still on IH rice cookers. Panasonic's IH rice cooker produced by the Chinese factory has a price range of 1000-3000 yuan, and Dasong's IH rice cooker almost follows this pricing, and the flagship GDCF-40X65C is priced at 3199 yuan, slightly higher than Panasonic SR-AE101-K, but SR-AE101-K uses Panasonic's most well-known Binchotan carbon liner, which has outstanding sticking resistance and thermal conductivity. However, the Dasong GDCF-40X65C only focuses on 30kPa pressure control, which does not constitute an absolute advantage compared with the 5-stage IH heating of SR-AE101-K.
 
The trend of younger consumers is intensifying, making rice cookers develop in the direction of fashion and intelligence, and WiFi remote control has also been included in the scope of product development. Dasong tentatively launched two products, the model is GDCF-20X60C and GDCF-30X61C, the price difference is 300 yuan, GDCF-30X61C is equipped with a pure copper composite liner with higher thermal efficiency, and adds micro-pressure technology, which accelerates the cooking process. It is worth noting that WiFi intelligent control technology is still in the improvement stage, and users should not use this as a basis for purchasing rice cookers.
