In order to get ahead in Shanghai, where Japanese food competition is fierce, merchants can be said to have done their best. Since its opening, ANTHOLOGIA has attracted Shanghai diners to book their unique sensory dining experiences, often with full schedules of one or two months. The restaurant is good at using projection, music, lighting and other video technologies to present food and beverage in a three-dimensional way, mobilizing all the senses of diners, and the dining experience is extremely rich. Earth Food Theatre is also owned by Shanghai FULU Restaurant Group and opened in February 2016.
The Earth Food Theatre opens at 7:00 p.m. from Monday to Saturday and is limited to 30 guests per day. The seating in the restaurant is arranged around a stage-style chef's table, and it has the atmosphere of a small theater. After the opening, accompanied by music and changing theme projections, the chef painted his face and wore a kimono in front of the chef's station to explain the content of each dish to the diners and cook it live. However, only the few people sitting in the front row ate the chef's freshly prepared dishes on the stage, and the back row diners got all the dishes prepared in the back kitchen, although they were all freshly cooked and eaten, but the experience of sitting in the back row was obviously inferior to that of the front row. There are seven courses in total, including appetizers, sashimi, sushi, grilled dishes, main dishes, soups, desserts, etc., and the menu changes once a month. The Earth Food Theater also uses dry ice, lights, flames, etc. to complement the dishes, and the dishes are also decorated with a colorful feeling.
It should be reminded that the Earth Food Theater is a shared dining experience, so in the event of a guest's birthday or special anniversary, the restaurant will play a blessing message on the big screen, and let all diners and staff in the restaurant applaud and bless, and diners who mind privacy are best to avoid it themselves.
