Xu Boguan - Business Reviews

Founded in 2012, Xu Boguan is a brand of Nanhai Fishing Village Group, a leading catering company in China with a history of more than 30 years. Mr. Xu Feng, the founder of Xu Bo Museum, is a postdoctoral fellow in health care at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, and Xu Bo Museum is also a demonstration base for traditional Chinese medicine culture and health tourism in Guangdong Province. Xu Boguan focuses on Lingnan health dishes, using mostly healthy ingredients, and there are no dishes such as brine and roasted meat, but customers can really eat it from the nearby Nanhai Fishing Village branch. Traditional Cantonese cuisine focuses on heat and uses high temperature cooking, and simmering and frying is a common practice. Tsui Museum's new Cantonese cuisine prefers low-temperature and slow-cooking, emphasizing the preservation of the original flavor of the ingredients to the greatest extent. And it is better at using Western plating and packaging techniques to make dishes look pleasing to the eye and stimulate appetite. The eight famous dishes at Xu Boguan are salted lemon boiled abalone, Japanese bamboo salt-grilled wagyu beef film, matsutake lotus root crisp, pomelo juice Hokkaido sea cucumber, crispy roasted star spot steak, braised dragon shell with golden orchid sauce, stewed whelch head with Jinshan black diamond bezoar, and rice noodles with lobster soup. The six famous spots are watercress and fish porridge, boiled and roasted bones with jade melon and eyebrow peas in chicken soup, shrimp dumplings with golden orchid sauce, healthy multigrain oatmeal buns, nostalgic barbecued pork crisp, and sago coconut milk osmanthus cake. Many dishes in Xu Boguan are "Chinese and Western food", and the way of serving dishes is in place. And the pursuit of exquisite and meticulous production, the amount of dishes is relatively mini. Although there is no scientific basis for the claim that dishes are healthy, dishes with less oil and less salt and light cooking are not bad for health. The whole floor of Xu Bo Museum is 2,200 square meters, on the central axis of the core area of Guangzhou CBD, with a first-line river view, Pazhou, Haixinsha, Xiaomanjiao, museums and opera houses. There are many works of national treasure-level art masters in the museum, and the famous master Wu Tai has created Lingnan's unique herbal paintings for each room of the Xu Museum, such as mugwort leaves, lotus, ginkgo and other herbs, echoing the Siberian handmade herbal wool carpet. The restaurant is designed with floor-to-ceiling glass lighting, with seats for 80 people and 18 VIP suites, 12 of which are rooms with panoramic river views. There is no corkage fee, and a 10% service charge is charged, but the service quality cannot keep up, the service initiative is poor, and the dishes are not very familiar, so it is recommended to strengthen training. Xu Museum is located on the 7th floor of Zhonghe Plaza, with high privacy, and private rooms need to be booked in advance.
