In the confined environment test, 0.05% fipronil has a good killing effect on both German cockroaches and American cockroaches, and can completely kill all cockroaches within a week. Ansu 0.05% fipronil cockroach bait is packaged in a small box, and the drug is placed in a plastic box with holes, which maintains the efficacy of the drug for a longer time than direct exposure point application, but the disadvantage is that the application is not flexible and suitable for use in living rooms and bedrooms.
 
Boric acid powder and fipronil are all health insecticides recommended by the WHO, and boric acid was also the mainstream insecticide product before the epidemic of chemical pesticides. Boric acid toxicity is not as good as fipronil, and the lethal efficiency of the sensitive strain of German cockroach is slightly worse, but the German cockroach is not easy to develop resistance to boric acid, and it is more environmentally friendly, and it is also a worthy cockroach killing product. Aerosols and fumigants are contact killing types, while bait and other methods belong to the stomach poison type, which can be lethal in very small amounts, and the contact killing type is far less effective than cockroaches actively eating poisonous bait because most of the agents will be wasted in the environment. In addition to fumigation to kill cockroaches, it also has a killing effect on mites and fleas, but this method is not so convenient to use, and it is easy to leave the agent in the home, so it is not recommended to choose this type of product.
