Ulster Weavers is the largest supplier of kitchen series in the United Kingdom, founded in 1880 in Holywood, Northern Ireland, then called The Ulster Weaving Company, is a weaving company mainly engaged in home textiles. For nearly 140 years, Ulster Weavers has been producing high-quality linen and textile products and is currently the world's largest producer of linen tea towels. It wasn't until the 60s of the 20th century that Ulster Weavers began to expand their business into kitchen textiles. In 1990, Ulster Weavers separated its apparel and home fashion businesses, usually referring to its home fashion segment, Ulster Weavers Home Fashions, which produces tableware and kitchen textiles. In 1995, Ulster Weavers Home Fashions was awarded the Royal Order of Kitchen Textiles by Queen Elizabeth II.
