Chongqing's craft beer market is still in its infancy, and most bars lack the ambience of the atmosphere, but Two Cups is an exception. Designed by professional designers, Two Cups is able to integrate the topography of Chongqing's mountain city into the space, and the sofa carved from solid wood simulates the undulating mountains and rivers, while serving as a division of different areas. It amplifies the sense of space and allows guests to sit in a posture such as sitting, lying, wading and leaning, highlighting the relaxed and natural state. This set of furniture, topography and landscape functions are expanded or contracted by climate change, resulting in wood grains; The marks left by people when they use it also leave traces on its surface, which is in line with the fermentation process of beer.
Compared to well-known local craft breweries such as Hops and Yolo, Two Cups has a larger number of beers, but there is a lack of fine spirits. Lighter craft beers such as fruit beers, wheat beers, and pale ales have become the mainstay of the store's liquor collection, which is understandable for a newbie bar that can be boring for slightly more savvy customers. Thankfully, due to the owner's personal preference, Two Cups has introduced a lot of Brouwerij de Molen and Danish Toule beers. Although these two are already well-known in the international craft beer scene, due to the wide range of wines on their menu, most bars will only select the best-selling series. Two Cups, on the other hand, includes most of the classics and latest wines from both brands. In Chongqing, there are not too many bars where you can drink "Hell and Curse" in the God Mill Column, and Two Cups will be one.
In addition to craft beer, there are also some cocktails on offer, but the level is poor and it is not recommended to choose. Due to the positioning of the restaurant, the appetizers of Two Cups are mainly Western-style foods such as fried chicken, French fries, and sausages, and the portion and taste are decent without major defects, but they are not excellent. If you don't get used to the dim lighting indoors, you might as well take a seat in the open-air area outside the door, which is more spacious, but unfortunately it is easy to be disturbed by mosquitoes in summer.
