El Luchador - Merchant Reviews

El Luchador is a typical Mexican tavern bar, "El Luchador" means wrestler in Mexican. According to the restaurant, wrestlers are an important part of Mexican street culture, and the restaurant named it in the hope of bringing the most authentic Mexican street food to customers.

El Luchador's menu is much simpler than that of El Luchador, which focuses on Taco, Burritos and Quesadillas, three of Mexico's most iconic foods. Taco is a traditional Mexican dish filled with tortillas with a variety of fillings, and El Luchador offers a wide variety of tacos with shrimp, chicken, beef, pork shoulder, sausages, fried fish and vegetarian canitas corn, with shrimp tart and fish tart being the most popular. The prawn tarco shrimp are large and tender, with a bouncy mouth, and are served with simple tomatoes, onions and diced red peppers. Fresh yellowtail is fried in the same style as Japanese tempura, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and then paired with tomatoes, lettuce leaves and shredded radish to dispel the greasy fried clothes.

The frontispiece of the burrito is a spicy sausage minced flavor, and the restaurant's homemade sausages are fluffy and spicy, and served with more spicy minced meat, and the burrito filling and crust are served separately, so diners need to make their own burritos. The chicken cheese pancake is the most popular one of the pancakes, the crust is thin, crispy and firm, and the cheese with plenty of ingredients can be pulled out with a lot of shreds, and the minced chicken has a slightly spicy taste, so you won't feel greasy if you eat more. Both of these dishes are more substantial, making them more suitable for sharing with multiple people.

In addition to eating, the wide variety of drinks is also a highlight of El Luchador. The classic margarita is made with Tequilas, the national wine of Mexico, and then orange wine and lemon juice, which can be felt on the tip of the tongue when you first enter the mouth, but it doesn't take too long for the freshness of lemon juice to dilute this hotness, and the aftertaste has a faint orange aroma, and the wine flavor is layered. If you find the agave too spicy, there is also a smoothie margarita to choose from, which is relatively mild and will not have any irritation.

El Luchador is full of Mexican flavors, with Mexican tiles on the floor, photos and murals of wrestlers in many places, nearly 100 kinds of wine in the bar area, and red tables to enhance the atmosphere. The restaurant service is decent, if customers have other needs after serving, they need to call the service staff at the bar, the waiters are mostly foreigners, English communication is barrier-free, and Chinese communication is more difficult.
