Taihu Seafood City (Tsim Sha Tsui Branch) - business reviews

Opened in 1985, Taihu Seafood City has been standing in Hong Kong for many years, and is a Michelin-recommended delicacy based on the new style of Cantonese cuisine. Taihu Seafood City is a long-established Hong Kong-style restaurant and is the choice of many Hong Kong families for dinner.

Taihu Seafood City does not take the seafood processing route, nor does it have typhoon shelter flavors, but is more like using the taste of Cantonese cuisine to cook seafood. In addition to all kinds of fresh seafood, Taihu Lake's siu mei and desserts are also commonly ordered by customers. When it comes to seafood in Taihu Lake, lobster and abalone are standard here, and the production methods are mostly baked, steamed and stir-fried, and special dishes such as fried geoduck with cashew nuts, baked lobster in soup, and steamed sea grouper with cordyceps flowers, with obvious Cantonese flavor. The fried rice with ginger and live fish is the signature dish of Taihu Lake, the rice is distinct, the fish is fragrant and fishy, and many customers have become repeat customers in order to eat this fried rice again. You can also taste Hong Kong-style shark fin and bird's nest here.

Taihu Lake will also regularly launch various preferential packages, with different content at different time periods, and the price is much more cost-effective than ordering food alone. Taihu Lake is also known as the "food city that never sleeps", it will be open until 3 p.m., and enter the midnight market after 10 p.m. every night, and the restaurant can also provide free private rooms, where customers can not only have a late night snack, but also play mahjong entertainment.

However, if the number of diners is too small, it is not recommended to go to Taihu Lake to eat, first, there are not as many types of seafood that can be ordered as in Saigon, Lei Yumen and other places, and second, the à la carte dishes are not cost-effective. Taihu Lake set menus are basically available for 10-12 people, with 8-10 dishes per table, and the price ranges from HK$2,000 to HK$5,000.

Fried rice with ginger and live fish
The dishes of Taihu Seafood Town Store have clear grains of fried rice, and the fish is strip-shaped, smooth and tender, while the ginger is spicy but not spicy.
Baked lobster in soup
Different from the usual cheese-baked lobster, the soup is used as the base material to pay more attention to the freshness of the ingredients and the mellowness of the base.
