Satay Xuan - Business Reviews

Sitting in Hong Kong for many years, Satay Heen has won the love of gourmets for providing authentic Sin Chew cuisine. The three branches are located in three Sino Group hotels, and the environment is much more stylish than street shops. If Satay Heen is rated as a Singaporean restaurant with both style and taste in Hong Kong, no one will have any objections.

Managed by a long-established chef in Singapore, the main store of City Garden has a traditional taste and has been recognized by many diners for its authentic and stable dishes. The menu is simple yet classic. Hainanese chicken rice has always been a standard dish to evaluate the quality of a Xingma restaurant, and the price of Satay Xuan's signature Hainanese chicken rice is among the best in Hong Kong, but the quality of the products is absolutely matched. The bone-based chicken is tender and smooth in the mouth, without losing its toughness, the chicken skin is shiny and the taste is plump, the rice grains are soft and glutinous and oily, and the chicken fragrance penetrates into the flavor. The whole Hainanese chicken rice is fragrant and tempting, and it is worth trying.

Another signature dish at Xingma Restaurant is the Satay series, which comes in three options: chicken, beef or pork, and the grilled meat skewers are juicy and dipped in a peanut-flavored satay sauce, which is spicy and salty. The restaurant's bak kut teh is a typical Singaporean Teochew style style, compared to the Malaysian Hokkien style, the former has fewer herbs added, the taste is light, with a slight peppery aroma, and the pork ribs in the soup are loosened and flavorful, and the taste is authentic. The main dish in Xingma Restaurant is Sin Chew chilli crab, which is not as big as Singaporean crab, but the ingredients are authentic and very delicious. In addition, there are several seafood dishes, such as vermicelli crab pot, baked pepper crab, baked pepper shrimp, wheat skin butter prawns, and coconut curry fish, all of which are classic dishes that are suitable for family dinners with high order rates and taste the flavor of Sin Chew.

In addition, Spicy Tong Cai, Sin Chew Carrot Cake, Fujian Shrimp Noodle Soup, Hometown Fujian Pizza and Padang Beef are all signature dishes of the restaurant, and you can't go wrong with them. Among the desserts, the most ordered is the chatter, which contains rich ingredients such as taro, sweet potato, and soybeans, and is soaked in a fragrant coconut milk base for a rich taste. In addition, there is also Sin Chew's special drink Milo Godzilla, that is, vanilla cake is added to the prepared Milo drink, which is similar to the taste of a milkshake, and will be a little sweet.

The three hotels located in Satay Heen are City Garden Hotel in North Point, Royal Pacific Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui, and Gold Coast Hotel in Tuen Mun. Among them, the Satay Pavilion located in the City Garden Hotel in North Point is the main store. The restaurant is located on the ground floor of the basement of the hotel, and the interior decoration is simple and bright, with white and blue as the main colors, inheriting the elegant and low-key style of the hotel restaurant. Compared to the crowded Southeast Asian restaurants, the tables are moderately spaced between the tables and tables, and the long wooden tables and chairs can be flexibly shared, which is enough to accommodate more than eight people for a multi-person dinner. The restaurant service also reflects the professional level of hotel-style service, the waiters are all dressed in suits and leather shoes, and the movements are skillful and professional, although not as meticulous as the top hotels, but they are also far ahead of the level of public restaurants.
