Founded in 1785, Champagne Blanc is one of the 10 oldest chateries in the Champagne region. Champagne Blanc does not have its own vineyards, and the grapes used in the production are sourced from the growers of the Champagne region and its twin brother, the Champagne House Hacher.
 
The same champagne brand with Heidsieck, Bai Xue does have a kinship with Ha Xue, the founder of Ha Xue Champagne, Charles Ha Xue, is the nephew of Flowers the founder of Snow White Champagne. In 1985, Haxue Champagne was sold to Rémy Cointreau, and three years later, the Champagne Blanc was transferred to Rémy Cointreau, thus finally merging the two centuries-old families. In 2011, Rémy Cointreau sold Snow Blanc and Haxue Champagne to EPI Investments.
 
Snow White Champagne has a lot of roots with the film industry, the famous movie star Marilyn Monroe once said: I wear Chanel No. 5 before going to bed, and drink Snow White Champagne in the morning. Since 1993, Champagne Blanc has been the Official Champagne of the Festival de Cannes and has maintained partnerships with international film festivals such as the Berlin Film Festival, the San Francisco Film Festival, the Deauville Film Festival, and for the fifth consecutive year, it has also provided the official champagne for the Academy Awards.
 
Blanc produces six main champagnes: Cuvee Brut, Rose Sauvage, Cuvee Sublime, Essentiel, Vintage Brut and Rare Champagne. With the exception of vintage champagnes and black diamond champagnes, the rest are non-vintage champagnes.
 
Snow White Dry Champagne, also known as Red Label Champagne, is harvested from 100 vineyards, with more than half Pinot Noir and Chardonnay only 15-20%, with a smooth but slightly mediocre body; Purple Champagne is a semi-sweet champagne with a rehydration volume of 35g/L, which has a prominent sweetness and pleasant taste, and is recommended for drinkers who do not like acid.
 
In tribute to Queen Marie Antonine, Snow Blanc has launched a premium cuvée on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the estate, using Van Cleef & Arpels' 1885 black bottle for Bleau and named Black Diamond Champagne. The Black Diamond Champagne is produced in limited quantities and is currently available for only 9 vintages, the most recent being the Black Diamond Rosé 2007. One of the best performing vintages was 2002, when it was known as the most awarded Champagne and won numerous awards in prestigious competitions, with a score of 97 on the Wine Spectator website, the same score as the Salon Blanc de Blanc in 2002. What is rare is that the price of Snow White Black Diamond Champagne is reasonable, with an average price of more than 1,000 yuan, which is a very accessible top champagne.
 
Many people compare Snow Blanc Champagne with Haxue Champagne, in fact, the two brands do have differences in style, Snow Blanc Champagne is more hedonistic style, fruity, mineral and easy to taste; Haxue Champagne is more deep, robust and complex.
