Hauberwang is not only a first-class Cru of the 1855 Médoc classification, and the only winery among the five major chorgies that does not belong to the Médoc appellation, so Château Hauberg is not only a Cru of the 1855 Médoc, but also a Grand Cru of the Graff appellation.
 
Château Hauberg has a long history, and the highlands are located in a highland that has been a viticultural activity for centuries long before the estate was founded. In 1666, the then owner of Château Haurbio opened a tavern in England to sell and promote Hau Bo wines, and because of this move, Ha Bo was considered to be the first Bordeaux red wine to go abroad. It is worth mentioning that Thomas Jefferson, the third president of the United States, once drank with Benjamin Franklin and King Houb. But it is a pity that Hou Bowang is neglected in the Chinese market, and his fame is far less than that of Lafite, in fact, Hou Bowang has won Parker perfect points for more years than Lafite.
 
Château Hauberg has 48.35 hectares of vineyards located on a gravel hillside. Since the 90s, the proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc in the vineyard has decreased, and the proportion of Merlot has increased, due to the fact that King Hauber tends to use a large proportion of Merlot and Cabernet Franc in the production of wine, and the proportion of these two grapes is also the highest among the five great vineyards. Today, 48.7% Merlot, 39.6% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10.7% Cabernet Franc and 1% Vernado are planted in the Hau Bo King vineyard.
 
Château Hauber was one of the first Bordeaux to use stainless steel fermentation vats, and they built a cooperage on the estate, where 70% of the oak barrels used for winemaking come from their own cooperage. After fermentation in stainless steel barrels, the wine is aged in new oak barrels for 24-27 months.
 
Hou Bo Wang is currently the most cost-effective choice among the five major estates, many times Parker full score, but the market transaction price is much lower than Latour, Lafite and other famous wines, if you like Bordeaux wine, but the pocket is shy, then you may wish to consider buying Hou Bo Wang red wine.
