Founded in 1926 as a German protective supplier along with DACH and Dräger, Uvex is mainly engaged in industrial and outdoor sports protective equipment.
Its mask products are positioned in the mid-range, with prices between 10 and 20 yuan, and most of them implement EU standards. Among the current products, there are 3310 and 2310 in accordance with the FFP3 standard, 3220 and 3210 in the FFP2 standard, and 2220 with activated carbon.
The highest-selling 3310 uses densely woven filter media, which can filter more than 99% of oily and non-oily particles, making it suitable for use in heavily polluted environments. In contrast, 3220, which has a filtration effect of only FFP2, is priced even higher than 3310 due to the addition of an activated carbon layer that can absorb odors. However, for Asians, the lower part of the mask is too narrow and long, and it is easy to create a gap near the chin, so the fit is low, and the actual protection effect is not ideal.
The 2310 series is the predecessor of the 3310, with slightly less comfortable fabrics, older nose clips and headbands, but the same FFP3 filtering effect, and the biggest advantage is that it is available in both large and small versions. The small version has an inner bag design added to the fitting part of the cover body and the human face, which is suitable for women and users with small faces. However, due to the long time since it was launched, the model has been removed from the shelves by official channels, and it needs to be purchased through agents.
