How about Shigematsu anti-smog mask Brand introduction

Shigematsu is better known to Chinese consumers as "Shigematsu", but since this trademark has been preemptively registered in Chinese mainland, the official trademark of "Shigematsu" in Chinese mainland is "Shigematsu". Founded in 1917, Shigematsu is one of Japan's top manufacturers of respiratory protective equipment. After the Fukushima nuclear disaster in 2013, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe wore a protective face shield made by Shigematsu when he visited the country. In 2015, a documentary called "Under the Sky" made the issue of smog a hot topic in society, and director Chai Jing wore a mask under Shigematsu.

In anti-smog masks, filtration efficiency is the most talked about indicator by the public. However, as long as you follow formal channels and buy products from mainstream manufacturers, the gap between brands is not large. In this case, the tightness of the mask is more important, because even if the filtration efficiency of the mask filter is high, the protective effect will be greatly reduced if particles penetrate into the corners.

The biggest advantage of Shigematsu products is that they are optimized for Asian face shapes, with a smaller size and increased contact surface between the hood and the face, which greatly improves the protection effect. For example, DD11V, the nose groove and the sealed blue strip design borrowed from medical ventilators perfectly fit the user's contours and have a good fit effect on most Asian face shapes.

DD11V adopts a neck-worn design, when in use, the four drawstrings on the front of the mask are pulled to the back of the neck and fixed with hooks to ensure that the most prone parts of the nose, chin, palate and other parts that are most prone to air leakage can also be completely fitted. The silicone skeleton supports the inside of the hood, which not only quickly recovers after facial movements such as laughing and talking, avoiding air leakage, but also brings more breathing space and ideal comfort. Through the built-in silicone valve plate, the exhalation valve on the left effectively promotes the discharge of gas in the mask during exhalation, and the exhalation resistance is below 70Pa, which protects against haze and ensures smooth breathing.

DD11V meets the Japanese DS2 standard. Unlike Chinese and U.S. standards, Japan's DS standard requires masks to filter both oily and non-oily particles, with DS3, DS2, and DS1 ratings corresponding to filtration efficiencies of 99.9%, 95%, and 80%, and are more stringent than Chinese standards in terms of breathing resistance.

DD02 can be regarded as a low-profile model of DD11V, lacking a sealed blue strip and skeleton design, but thanks to Shigematsu's special design for Asian face shapes, its fit is still unmatched in a mask of about 15 yuan. Unlike DD11, DD02 implements the US NIOSH standard, which reaches the level of N95 in filtration efficiency, that is, the filtration rate of non-oily particulate matter is more than 95%. It is worth noting that most mask manufacturers will use "V" to indicate that the product contains an exhalation valve, for example, DD02V has an additional exhalation valve than DD02, and the rest of the functions are no different.

Shigematsu was once sold out in China, and the price was also speculated to 100 yuan per piece. However, as manufacturers increase production capacity and open official flagship stores, there are formal, stable and reasonably priced purchase channels in Chinese mainland, and there is no need to purchase on behalf of others.
