Guess is adventurous, sexy, and pure American! Curiosity, passion, and a free spirit are Guess's claims. Since Guess originally started with denim clothing, the tone of the design has always been Western, and in terms of texture, it is comfortable, natural, and adventurous rugged. Later, under the influence of popular elements, Guess gradually appeared with some close-fitting sexy, simple, and urban designs. Guess Story

The Marciano brothers, the founders of Guess, grew up in a passionate southern region of France, where French design and lifestyle have long been ingrained in their hearts. The Marciano brothers also admired life on the West Coast of the United States and moved to the United States in the 70s to start their fashion dreams in California.

In the early 1980s, the outlook for clothing design was bleak, and denim goods were considered obsolete. However, by fusing European style and American tradition, Marciano reinvents denim as an elegant, innovative and timeless sensuality.

At first, the retailers were quite skeptical about the direction of Guess's products, and the buyers agreed that denim items were in decline, but the Marciano brothers were convinced, and launched a pair of women's jeans called Guess skinny "Monroe", which created a new concept with sexy and unique design style.

After a long negotiation, Bloomingdale was finally willing to sell two dozen Marilynjeans, which could be regarded as a gesture of help to the Marciano brothers. As the Marciano brothers expected, within a few hours, the merchandise was sold out. Since then, the Marciano brothers have been building this American brand with a French heart. This new development of denim products also makes jeans a fashion icon that is not affected by time.
