Among the many "Xingzitou" noodle restaurants in Suzhou, Tongdexing's qualifications are not old, but it has become the representative store of Soviet-style fine noodles with a bowl of white soup Fengzhen large meat noodles. This bowl of noodles also appeared in the second season of "A Bite of China", and received the evaluation of "white grains, fresh and smooth noodle soup". It was founded in 1997 and was originally opened on Stadium Road. In 2001, this bowl of white soup Fengzhen large meat noodles was rated as "Chinese Famous Snack". In 2003, the flagship store Jiayufang store was officially opened, and then it became the filming store of "A Bite of China".

Tongdexing's Baitang Fengzhen Big Meat Noodles is not only the store's signature, but also the masterpiece of the entire Soviet-style fine noodles. It looks impressive, the soup is crystal clear, the noodle soup is covered with floating oil flowers, and the finely chopped green onions are embellished with fragrance. The noodles are neatly combed and well organized. A large piece of meat is placed on the surface, refreshing and white, with a clear texture. The aroma of the noodle soup is not very strong, but it is rich in content, and the slightly light meat aroma is mixed with a hint of sake lees, which is a delicate feeling that is not comparable to ordinary restaurants. When you take a sip of the soup, the rich flavor overflows, and the seemingly clear noodle soup is very mellow at the moment, and even a little sticky to the lips. The sweetness of the wine in the soup looms bright, and it is not overwhelming. The noodles are smooth and springy, tenacious and strong, and not rotten at all. As the focus of the big meat looks bland, but it tastes three points, the lean meat is lean but not firewood, the fat is oily but not greasy, and it melts in the mouth.

The outstanding taste of Fengzhen Big Meat Noodles comes from its exquisite method. The noodle soup is made with ingredients such as chicken and duck bones, yellow eel bones, and snails, and is also made with sake to add flavor. Soy sauce must not be used for seasoning, so the soup is clear. For stewed meat, high-quality pork belly must be used, and the ingredients must be simmered over low heat for at least 4 hours before the flavor can be saved. The size of the stewed meat is also very exquisite, each piece of meat must be controlled at 1 cm thick, 6-7 cm wide, and the gram weight is about 1.2 taels. Because the complex production process of Fengzhen large meat noodles must be completed at a room temperature of more than 25 degrees, this bowl of noodles also has a strong seasonality, which can only be eaten from May to September every year, and it is not easy to keep the quality in midsummer, Tongdexing only supplies 300 bowls of white soup Fengzhen large meat noodles every day, which also adds a mysterious and attractive color to it.

Tongdexing currently has three branches in Suzhou, and Jiayufang store is its flagship store and the resident shooting store of "A Bite of China". The decoration of this store has a strong Soviet-style graceful style, and the cornices and corners outside the store are very conspicuous. The store's unique entrance, old-fashioned eight-immortal tables with long benches, carved doors and windows, and yellow lanterns hanging from the beams all add to the retro atmosphere of the store. Although the area of more than 400 square meters has made it the largest single-store noodle restaurant in Suzhou, it is often full of diners and makes it a little crowded. There is not much to show for the service of Tong De Hing, diners can sit down after handing over the receipt to the waiter, and there is no need to pick up the meal. It should be noted that this restaurant is only open until 1 p.m., and diners who wish to visit should arrange in advance to avoid overcrowding.

Braised hoof noodles
The white stewed hooves and the stewed meat have the same effect, which seems to be bland, but in fact they are fresh and salty. It is not as fat and thin as stewed meat, but the fat and lean meat are intertwined, and the taste is full and rich when you take a bite.
