In 1992, the founders, Lu and his son, were inspired by foreign fast food and registered the trademark "Lu Changxing", which made it one of the earliest trademarks in Suzhou's catering industry. Up to now, Lu Changxing has opened more than 20 stores in Suzhou, covering almost every neighborhood in Suzhou.
Similar to Zhu Hongxing, Lu Changxing, who operates on a large scale, has also established its own distribution center to ensure the unity of taste. Fried fish noodles are Lu Changxing's most popular bowl of noodles, this bowl of noodles is not red, between red soup and white soup, the taste has both the sweetness of red soup and just right, not greasy. There are plenty of toppings for the fried fish, and the texture of the fish is clear. The surface is not as crispy as the fried fish in other noodle restaurants, but it is a little soft, and the texture of the fish in the middle is delicate, and the taste is moderately salty and slightly sweet. Order a plate of refreshing shredded ginger and pair it with a delicious fried fish, which is the best. The stewed meat toppings are also a good choice for Lu Changxing's noodle restaurant, and this topping alternates between fat and thin, and tastes rich. Lu Changxing's noodles are more controversial, they are slightly thicker than ordinary dragon whisker noodles, and they are harder to eat. Although it has a nice smooth feeling in the mouth, it has a slightly less stretchy feeling.
Among Lu Changxing's more than 20 stores, Fengmen stores have maintained a high standard. The yellow sign on a green background is very conspicuous on the street, and the store is small but bright. The carved pillar is hung with the inscription "Traditional Flavor" by Suzhou writer Lu Wenfu, which attracts people's attention. The tables in the depths are close enough to disturb the seated diners when people are moving. The service is typical of a long-established restaurant, and diners need to make their own noodles.
