Miramar Hotel Hong Kong-Yamm-Merchant Reviews

Modern and elegant are the calling cards of Miramar Hong Kong, and its restaurants have embraced this style. As the buffet restaurant of Miramar Hotel, yamm is different from the down-to-earth atmosphere of the public buffet, and has the elegant style of Fine Dining. The restaurant has been recognized by several media awards for its high-quality products and elegant environment, and is one of the hot buffet restaurants in the city.

Yamm offers an all-day international buffet with à la carte menus. The extensive buffet offers Japanese, Indian, Southeast Asian and Western delicacies, as well as freshly baked desserts and pastries from Miramar Pastry. Don't miss out on the fresh seafood flown in, including steamed Boston lobster and freshly opened oysters, which are served to diners in three different varieties at a time, but are advised to avoid waste. The jade snails and clams are relatively clean, and the shrimp are also fresh and sweet. In addition, there are also standard seafood buffets such as mussels and crab legs.

Sushi sashimi is also served, including the popular treasure scallops, which are served on small plates individually. Hot dishes with Japanese, Indian, and Southeast Asian flavors are all available, making it a relatively unmistakable choice for foreign travelers. There's also pan-seared foie gras, Parmesan ham and international cheeses, all of which are available on Yamm. In summer, the restaurant's seasonal theme is the crab theme, which adds a variety of crab delicacies such as asparagus and crab jelly soup, Japanese snow leaf crab stick sushi, grilled Hokkaido hairy crab, Singapore pepper crab, and avocado crab pancake with crab roe champagne cream sauce. Yamm's desserts are on the small side, making it easy for diners to try more variety. The ice cream section offers Movenpick ice cream balls with six flavors, including fragrant mango, original flavor and chocolate.

Yamm's innovative and stylish design, with attractive lighting and music, is also relatively spacious and comfortable, and the dining here does not feel rushed. While the location situation won't be as tight as the previous few popular restaurants, it's best to reserve a seat in advance. The restaurant's service staff exude calm and elegance, smiling and very kind, and can also achieve basic communication in Chinese for mainland diners who do not understand Cantonese or English. A service charge is charged, and payment methods are Visa, MasterCard, AE, UnionPay and JCB in addition to HKD.

Miramar Hotel is located along Milton Road and The One Shopping Mall, both of which are located along Milton Road, making it convenient for diners who need to shop after dining. However, it should be noted that the flow of people in the area around Milton Road is relatively large, most of them are tourists or business travelers, and the traffic is slightly congested during rush hour, so tourists can walk along Milton Road, which is more convenient than choosing public transportation.
