The Langham, Hong Kong - The Food Gallery - Reviews

Originating in London and acquired by Hong Kong's Great Eagle Group, The Langham, Hong Kong is an elegant hotel that exudes the luxury of Europe. The Food Gallery in the lobby inherits the hotel's fashionable and elegant European style, and is a buffet restaurant that allows diners to experience a leisurely and comfortable atmosphere.

During lunch and dinner buffets, the restaurant will present more than 30 Chinese and Western lobster dishes, including French lobster baked, stir-fried lobster in typhoon shelter, lobster and seafood soup, lobster and seafood pasta, lobster and garlic baked lobster and lobster pasta in soup. Every day, it rotates to serve a variety of salads, appetizers, seafood cold cuts, grilled meats, and a variety of Chinese and Western delicacies. In the seafood section, a wide variety of fresh oysters, Boston lobster, Australian crayfish, Pacific tiger prawns, Canadian snow crab, New Zealand mussels and Icelandic sea emerald snails greatly satisfy seafood control diners.

In addition to a wide variety of cold dishes, the restaurant also offers a variety of hot fresh fish dishes, such as mackerel, herring and yellow croaker, which are steamed to preserve the umami flavor of the ingredients. The grill offers freshly cut grilled meats, with a focus on English roast suckling pig with applesauce, braised lamb bones, charcoal-grilled sirloin steak and T-bone lamb chops. There are nearly 30 different dishes in the hot food area, such as French Stuffed Lobster, Singapore Crab with Black Pepper, Stir-fried Flower Nail with Soy Pepper, Chinese Siu Mei and Indian Pepper Crackers. Finally, there are a wide range of delicate desserts such as meringue, Parisian ibrest puffs, hazelnut chocolate tarts, cheesecakes, bread puddings, sweet fruits and eight flavours of Häagen-Dazs ice cream. Of course, more variety is the advantage of the restaurant, but there is still a lot of room for improvement in the overall production level, and it is still a restaurant with an environmental bonus higher than the food level.

The restaurant's service staff are humble and polite, and it is natural for diners to go in and out, but the fly in the ointment is that the closing speed is slower. In addition to Hong Kong dollars, the restaurant accepts Visa, MasterCard, UnionPay, AE and JCB. The Langham, Hong Kong is located in Harbour City, one of Hong Kong's most famous shopping hotspots, and is home to many tourists who visit Hong Kong. Diners who have finished dining at The Food Gallery may wish to take a stroll around Harbour City to get a taste of Hong Kong's luxury and bustle.
