If you are passionate about a British education and want to train your children to be gentlemen and polite "British models", then The British School of Guangzhou (BSG) is definitely the place for you. Founded in 2005, BSG became a member of the Nord Anglia Group's 43 international schools in 2012 and has since become an authorised school of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Foundation.

The school is located next to the scenic South Lake, with two campuses facing each other, designed for children aged 1 to 5 and primary and secondary school students aged 6 to 18. The campus has a library, a theater, a music room, a dance studio, a sports field, a hard court, a swimming pool and other facilities, which provide a rich space for the school's extracurricular and extracurricular activities.

With small class sizes of around 20 students in all grades, BSG offers Cambridge IGCSE for 14 to 16 year olds and A-Level courses for 16 to 18 year olds. Even students who speak English as a second and third language will be able to excel in an English-taught environment after completing BSG's Integrated English as a Second Language (ESL) programme.

The large windows of the classrooms are a feature of BSG, all teaching areas have Wi-Fi, the classrooms are equipped with modern equipment such as interactive whiteboards, tablets, e-readers, etc., and in order to facilitate students to read e-books anytime and anywhere, the school has also customized a digital library system, through which students can access and borrow e-books online at any time. BSG also places great emphasis on home-school relationships and encourages parents to get involved in school activities. The Parent Support Group (PSG) is set up for home-school communication, and PSG meets regularly with school staff to help children through planned activities.

In the 2017 IGCSE examinations, 93% of BSG students achieved a grade of C and above, and 48% of students achieved an A* or A level (the highest grade), well above the UK average of 22%. In 2017, 51% of BSG students achieved the highest A* or A grades, compared to the UK average of 26%, making it a better option to get a British education at BSG than to send your child to the UK.
