Founded in 1998, it is the only IB school in Guangzhou that offers a coherent IB education from kindergarten to high school, with one campus each in Baiyun District and Zengcheng District. Yudelai is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and is authorized by the Centre for the Development of Curriculum and Materials for Basic Education (NCCT) and the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) of the Ministry of Education.

Located in Guangzhou and Zengcheng, Yudelai International School has two campuses, both of which are surrounded by mountains and rivers, enjoying the scenery of lakes and mountains, and a beautiful and comfortable learning environment. At the Baiyun Campus, most of the classrooms and outdoor areas have beautiful views of the lake, and the classroom facilities are modern and designed to meet the requirements of different courses and keep up with international trends. The Zengcheng campus is equally stunning, with an organic farm that includes a beehive and worm farm in addition to the landscape, allowing students to explore the natural environment. It offers an IB international curriculum from kindergarten to high school, which is taught in English. Curriculum includes the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (DP), the International Middle Years Programme (MYP), and the International Primary Years Programme (PYP). The school also hosts regular clubs and extracurricular activities, as well as special ESL (Intensive English) tutoring for students who do not speak English as their first language, as well as French, Spanish, and Portuguese.

The school canteen provides high-quality, healthy and nutritious food, including a variety of Chinese and Western food, to meet the tastes of different students. At the same time, the school café also serves a range of snacks, and students can also bake and make their own food, such as almond cookies.

Nearly 20 years after its founding, Yudelai has become one of the largest and most successful international schools in Guangzhou. Its graduates have achieved outstanding results in the IB Diploma Program, with an average score of 35 points for the class of 2017, exceeding the world average score of 29 points, and the highest score of 44 points (out of 45 points).
