KTM Motorcycles Foreign How about brand introduction

推荐型号:1290 Super Adventure、Duke 390、390RC

KTM is an Austrian motorcycle brand that was born in 1934, went bankrupt in 1991, re-established its motorcycle division a year later, began to participate in various rally, and was the first manufacturer to use disc brake systems on motorcycles. In 1994, the street bike Duke series was released, and just a year later, it acquired WP (White Power), a top suspension manufacturer, and Husaberg, a Swedish motorcycle manufacturer. Today, KTM produces more than 100,000 units a year and is 40% owned by Bajaj Auto in India. KTM's strength lies in off-road and extreme racing, and in the post-millennium Dakar Rally, KTM won all the moto titles except in 2008, which was suspended, and reached an astonishing 15 consecutive titles. In MXGP, he also won five consecutive championships between 2010 and 2014.

KTM's off-road bikes are divided into two series, one is the Motocross series (SX) and the other is the Cross-Country (XC), since Motocross is a track race, the displacement and horsepower are usually a little smaller, the displacement covers 50cc to 450cc, and the SX series max horsepower is the 450 horsepower of the 62 SX-F. Cross-Country, also known as Enduro, is a long-distance off-road race that requires more displacement and horsepower, and the XC series ranges from 150cc for the XC-W to 690cc for the Enduro R. It's worth noting that the SX and XC are not road-legal, while the EXC in the XC series is road-legal with lights and mirrors.

KTM is very obsessed with two-stroke engines, and many manufacturers are gradually abandoning two-strokes as the main rules of Motocross have become more favorable for four-stroke engines, but the mainstream of KTM's SX and XC is still two-strokes, because two-strokes are simple to build and have low maintenance costs, which is also a factor that cannot be ignored on the field. Although the two-stroke still has the shortcomings of difficult to control the output, troublesome premixing, and high fuel consumption, KTM is about to make the world's first electric injection two-stroke engine, which I believe can effectively reduce the defects of the two-stroke.

Compared to off-road bikes like the SX and XC, the Duke and Super Adventure will be more routine. KTM's Super Adventures are all upgraded or above, with top-of-the-line performance, design and equipment, and a very flagship price tag of £16,000. KTM's large displacement also has a Super Duke, so the first choice is not necessarily the Super Adventure, but the Super Adventure is very recognizable, and you can tell at a glance that it is a male upgrade.

KTM's street bikes have been on the market for 22 years, and since the release of the Duke 790 prototype, the Duke has included 125, 390, 690, 790, 1290, everything from entry-level to public upgrades, and most importantly, even the 125 Duke comes standard with WP shock, which can be said to be the conscience of the industry. The best-selling ones are the 125 and 390, and the 125 is priced at around £2,800, while the 390 is around £3,500.

KTM's Duke 390 adopts the CKD mode in China, India's parts are imported, and then assembled by Chunfeng in China, the cost is controlled, but the assembly level is very low, and the time to repair the car is longer than the time of riding a bicycle in minutes: Chunfeng's self-produced fuel tank leaks, water tank leakage, screw slip teeth loose and fall off, lights from near and far occasionally do not turn on, and the EFI system oil pipe falls off, which makes people very worry-free.
