As another major cashmere production enterprise in Inner Mongolia, although King Deer is not as famous as Ordos, it can fully represent the level of cashmere industry in Inner Mongolia. Founded in 1985, King Deer focuses on manufacturing cashmere products, and has been a state-owned holding company until its restructuring in 2004, and now more than 70% of cashmere fabrics are exported to international markets such as the United States, the European Union, and Japan.
As a traditional cashmere production enterprise, King Deer has a relatively strong product processing strength, and also has a large area of natural pastures in Inner Mongolia to ensure a stable source of raw materials. Before joining the World Trade Organization, China's cashmere sweater exports were subject to a quota system, and China's textile exports to the United States and European countries were restricted at that time, such as high tariffs and non-tariff trade barriers, so King Deer established its first overseas factory in Madagascar as early as 1998, and later established a factory in Cambodia in 2009.
Based on the abundant labor resources and preferential policies in Madagascar and Cambodia, King Deer has stronger production capacity after the establishment of overseas factories. All cashmere raw materials from overseas production bases come from Inner Mongolia, and the raw materials shipped are processed and exported directly to overseas markets, while cashmere fabrics in the domestic market are basically still produced by their Inner Mongolia factories.
Like Ordos, King Deer's scarves are mainly cashmere, with solid colors, checks, prints, and gradient elements all involved, and there are various styles. One of the most popular is the solid color basic, which comes in 16 colors, from calm gray to bright red, for both men and women. The basic specification is 160X30cm, which is suitable for most people with a large body, and the size may be slightly smaller for tall people, because the fabric is thin, and you can start with more than 300 yuan, which is lower than many better quality cashmere scarves on the market.
In addition to the style factor, the king deer scarf will also vary in price due to different specifications and thicknesses, short cashmere scarves are only sold for more than 200 yuan, and some large-sized cashmere shawls can reach thousands of yuan. In general, while taking into account quality, King Deer is the most affordable brand in the cashmere scarf category.
