Fuji Royal was founded in 1955 as the first manufacturer of coffee equipment in Japan, specializing in coffee roasters and grinders. Fuji Royal's two most iconic products, the R220 and R440, are ghost tooth sharpeners, and the body is available in red, black and yellow, and this series has appeared in the World Siphon Competition many times. The ghost tooth is a combination of a flat knife and a taper knife, which changes the thread shape of the cutterhead of the flat knife, and theoretically can grind coffee powder closer to the spherical shape, the uniformity of the coarse powder is excellent, and the fine powder rate is lower than that of the taper knife, making the taste cleaner.
 
R220 is known as "Little Fuji", can keep silent and grinding knife low temperature during grinding, small size, easy to operate, is the first choice of household electric grinder, but it can only be used for grinding a single product, its own powder catcher is made of plastic, will absorb powder or silver skin, it is recommended to bring your own metal or glass cup to hold coffee powder. The other R440 is exactly the same as the R220, but the size is larger, the grinding efficiency is higher, and the price is almost doubled, which is more suitable for boutique cafes with less traffic, and generally speaking, the R220 can meet the needs of general households.
 
Many brands have also launched a bean grinder that is very similar to R220 in shape and sharpening, and the characteristic of this "copycat machine" is that it is cheap, but it is inferior to R220 in details such as sharpening hardness, overall texture, durability, and residual powder rate.
