Founded in 1904, the Buick brand is one of the pioneers of the world's automobile industry and one of the powerful promoters of the industry, and plays an important role in the history of American automobile development. Buick has driven the progress of the automobile industry in design, technology and quality with diversified product composition, leading technological innovation and increasingly perfect product quality, highlighting the temperament of the times and brand heritage, and clearly reflecting the brand spirit of "breakthrough, innovation and enterprising" adhered to by Buick Century.

In 1998, Shanghai General Motors officially introduced the Buick brand. Since entering China, Buick has always grasped the pulse of the market, gained insight into consumer needs, integrated the world's leading technology, products and services resources, and become a leader in product and service standards in the automotive industry. At present, the Buick brand has three product lines: high-end comfort models, high-end coupes and high-end SUVs, to meet the needs of different consumers with a complete product array. At the same time, through the BIP Buick intelligent driving system, the world's latest automotive technology is synchronized, bringing consumers more outstanding core technology value. As the founder of the first service brand in the domestic automotive industry, Buick Care has been adhering to the service concept of "caring more about you than you", is committed to improving customer experience, leading the automotive after-sales service to extend to the regionalization, and meeting the diversified and segmented needs of customers in the way of "intensive cultivation".

The founding of Buick

On May 19, 1904, David Dunbar M. Buick created the American Buick Motor Company with the help of the Brisco brothers, but soon the company was in trouble. In the second half of 1904, William C. Durant, a carriage manufacturer, saw the great potential of the Buick Buick and bought the company. He founded General Motors in 1908 and used the Buick brand as the cornerstone of a new company, and the company began to prosper and produce the largest annual automobile production in the United States. In 1908, it produced 8,820 vehicles, ranking first in the United States. In the same year, General Motors Corporation of the United States was established with Buick as the center. When General Motors expanded, the Buick division became the second largest division of General Motors. It mainly designs and manufactures mid-range family sedans. Buick has the third largest sales volume within General Motors. Buick cars are characterized by high horsepower, individuality, practicality and maturity. With the elimination of Oldsmobile in 2004, Buick became the only entry-level luxury sedan based in North America.

Buick is one of the oldest American car brands, and the recent financial crisis at General Motors has led to speculation that the Buick brand may be sold or scrapped, but given the flawless performance of Buick cars in the Chinese market and the huge success of the new Buick Enclave model, there is little credibility in this rumor. In July 2009, GM completed the restructuring and ended bankruptcy protection, with four brands including Buick retained and the other four brands sold.

Buick includes many well-known models: Kaiyue, Yinglang, Regal, LaCrosse, GL8 and Leonda, Encore, Encora, etc. Buick occupies a very important position in the history of American automobiles, it is a pillar of the United States General Motors, which has led to the progress of the entire automobile industry and has become an example for other automobile companies to follow.

Meaning of the flag

The "three bullets" in the BUICK trademark is its graphic trademark, which is the logo of the Buick division. It is mounted on the car diffuser grille. The three bullets in the picture are of different colors (from left to right: red, white, and blue) and are arranged in turn at different heights, giving people a sense of aggressiveness and continuous climbing; It indicates that the Buick division uses top-of-the-line technology and is cutting the edge; It also said that the talents trained by the Buick branch are all at ease, and they are invincible and brave warriors who have the courage to reach the peak. Since 2002, the BUICK logo has been changed to a simple form.
