Since then, the world has changed. In June 1926, Daimler AG and Mercedes-Benz AG merged to form Daimler-Benz AG, and the car named after Mercedes-Benz officially appeared, and since then it has been famous for its high-quality, high-performance automotive products all over the world. In addition to high-end luxury cars, Mercedes-Benz is also the world's most famous manufacturer of motor buses and heavy-duty trucks. Currently, Mercedes-Benz is part of Daimler AG. Together with BMW and Audi, it is called the "troika".

Mercedes-Benz, a German car brand, is considered one of the world's most premium car brands, with its flawless technical level, excellent quality standards, innovative innovation, and a series of classic coupe styles. Internationally, the brand is often referred to simply as Mercedes, while Chinese mainland calls it "Mercedes-Benz" (hence the term Mercedes-Benz), translated as "Mercedes-Benz" in Taiwan and "Mercedes-Benz" in Hong Kong.

Since December 22, 1900, when Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft (DMG) presented the world's first Mercedes-branded car to its customers, Mercedes-Benz has been a model for the automotive industry. Its brand logo has become one of the most famous automotive brand logos in the world, and the Mercedes-Benz brand has been a pioneer in automotive technology innovation for more than 100 years.

On January 29, 1886, two Germans, Carl Benz and Gottlieb Daimler, patented the world's first automobile, marking the birth of the world's first automobile. This day was then known as the birth day of the automobile. More than 100 years have passed, Mercedes-Benz has already passed its 100th birthday, and in this more than 100 years, with the vigorous development of the automobile industry, many car manufacturers have emerged, but in the end it is just a flash in the pan. Over the past 100 years, only Mercedes-Benz, Peugeot, Ford and Skoda have survived the baptism of time.

History

In 1885 and 1886, Karl Friedrich Benz (full name Karl Friedrich Benz, Chinese name Carl Friedrich Benz, referred to as Karl Benz. Since the brand name contains the word "Mercedes-Benz", and Mercedes-Benz China's official website uses the translation of "Carl Benz", it is now mostly translated as "Carl Benz") and Gottlieb Daimler built their first cars. In 1883, Carl Benz took the lead and founded the Mercedes-Benz company in Mannheim, and the logo evolved

Gottlieb Daimler patented the three-pointed star emblem in 1909, but Mercedes belonged to a circular badge. Gottlieb Daimler's logo comes from a letter Daimler wrote to his wife, believing that the star he painted on his family house would bring him good luck, and the three-pointed star also symbolized the development of Mercedes-Benz in three directions: land, sea and air. In 1909, in order to commemorate the mass production of his car, Mr. Gottlieb Daimler changed the pattern of the gear inside the trident to a laurel branch as a sign of victory. The "Mercedes" in the logo is taken from the name of the beautiful daughter of Emil Jellinek, his car dealer in Austria. "Mercedes" means lucky in Spanish, but unfortunately this beauty died in an unhappy marriage at the age of 40, and the practice of naming her name has not gone far and wide.

In June 1909, Daimler AG applied for registration of the "three-pointed star" as the symbol of the car, symbolizing mechanization on land, on the water and in the air. In 1916, a circle was added around it, with four small stars inlaid above the circle and the word Mercedes underneath.

The Mercedes logo was originally Benz with laurel branches surrounding. In 1926, Daimler merged with Mercedes-Benz, and the star logo and Mercedes-Benz laurel branch finally merged into one, with the Mercedes-Benz inscription underneath. Later, the laurel branch was changed to a ring, and the word Mercedes-Benz was removed. With the merger of the two long-established car manufacturers, the factory once again applied for a patent for the trademark. The star in this ring evolved into today's motif, which is still in use today and is one of the world's most famous trademarks.
