Hyundai Motor Group was founded in 1967 and consists of core companies such as Hyundai Motor, Kia Motors, and Hyundai Mobis. Since July 2006, Hyundai Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. has been authorized as the general distributor of Hyundai/Kia Motors in China, and is responsible for the direct import of Hyundai or Kia brand vehicles from Hyundai Motor and Kia Motors, and the sale to domestic 4S brand dealers authorized by Hyundai Motor and Kia Motors, and then to end users.
