Bisquit brand introduction

Bisquitlogo

South Africa's Distell Group, Bisquit, the top ten brandy brands, founded in France in 1819, the world's famous cognac brand, South Africa's largest wine and spirits brewer, was acquired by South Africa's Distell Group in 2009

Founded in 1819, Bisquit has grown over 180 years to become one of the largest distilleries in Europe. Alexander Peskind founded the distillery as a young man in his twenties, but thanks to his extraordinary talent, this young man eventually made his distillery one of the best brandy distilleries in the Cognac region. In 1963, Renault and Castillon merged, and then in 1965 they joined the PernodRicard group. In 1965 it was merged into Paolo Ricari and in 1974 it was renamed Bono Ricari, and in 1991 the group's cognac business became known as Renault Bisch (Pepsi). In 2009, Pernod Ricard entered into an appraisal agreement with Distell Group in South Africa to sell its Bisquit cognac brand for 31 million euros.

Today, Pepsi is the only major cognac manufacturer that has all its products and sales in the same factory. Their distillery (the largest in the Charente district), the cooperage, the Tibetan Pavilion, the bottling plant and the management of the 852.2-hectare estate are all housed in the same place, near the small town of Rouillac (northwest of Jardnak). In the Château de Liyere estate, 406.5 hectares of grapes are planted. At an altitude of 160 meters, the grapes bloom later than in other regions, so they are less affected by frost. Liyeer's grapes can only supply 12%-18% of the Renault Bisch's needs, depending on the grape year. The modern distillery has 64 still pots, and the size of the building is such that the distillation technicians have to use their bicycles to run through the modern distillation equipment during the stressful days after fermentation. Even at Christmas and New Year's, the double distillation process continues day and night. The dross is removed, and in order to preserve the aroma of more fruit, the remnants of the second distillation are mixed with the wine.

The new wine is placed in barrels, 70% Toransey oak and the rest in Limousin oak. The barrels are made by Renault Bisch's own prestigious cask factory, where each artisan makes a 93-gallon cask from 30 boards per day. Although it is said that the planks can be used as long as they are left to air dry for 3 years. But the company has to wait 5 years. Jacques Rouvre has been a wine cellar chef in Bisch for more than 32 years. As a renowned oenology, the experience and intuition of Rouvière guarantee the consistency and characteristic style of the Renaud Bisch. Ageing dates back to Grande Champagne in 1819, the year of the creation of the Bisch, and is used to add a deep flavor to a shorter cognac.

The Beskind Distillery has the most extensive vineyards in the Cognac region and produces full-bodied cognacs. Three Star Classique is fruity and intense. VSOP Fine Champagne is a mellow, fruity, mellow and long-lasting aroma. Prestige Fine Champagne Napoléon Fine Champagne is fragrant, fruity, mellow, fruity, fruity, and long-lasting. XO Excellence Fine Champagne is mellow and fragrant, with a mellow taste and a long lingering aroma. Extra Fine Champagne is fruity, mellow on the palate, fruity and lingers for a long time. Aged between 90 and 100 years, Privilège D'Alexander Grande Champagne is a rich, mellow, pleasant, fruity and long-lasting wine.
