Heilongjiang Satellite TV is the main channel of Heilongjiang Radio and Television Station.

Heilongjiang TV station was broadcast on December 20, 1958, with the external call sign "Harbin Radio"; On December 20, 1959, it was changed from experimental broadcast to official broadcast; On August 1, 1978, the official call sign was "Heilongjiang TV"; On September 28, 1981, it was broadcast in color; On June 28, 1989, the second set of programs was launched; On October 16, 1997, the first set of programs was transmitted through the Asia-2 satellite, covering the whole territory of China and more than 50 countries and regions in the Asia-Pacific region. On June 28, 1999, the first set of programs was broadcast 24 hours a day; On March 1, 2001, after reintegration and revision, nine professional channels were launched, realizing the specialization of channels.

In December 2016, V Landmark (2016) was rated as the annual outstanding provincial satellite TV in the large-scale survey list of China's TV media comprehensive strength. On July 5, 2017, Heilongjiang Satellite TV's standard definition version of the station was broadcast at 16:9.

Heilongjiang TV has nine professional channels and one high-definition channel, including satellite TV channel, film and television channel, art channel, urban channel, news channel, public channel, seventh channel, examination channel, and guide video channel. Among them, the satellite TV channel covers 71 central cities, 243 prefecture-level cities and 1,773 counties across the country, with a total coverage of more than 744 million viewers.

There are a total of 63 self-run programs on the whole station, with a daily broadcast time of 38 hours and 52 minutes, and a total of 192 hours of daily broadcast programs. "News Night Flight" has won the China News Famous Column Award for several consecutive years, and was awarded the "Top 60 Columns in the Columns that Influenced the Process of China's Radio and Television since the Founding of the People's Republic of China" by the China Broadcasting Association.

There are 1,291 employees in Taiwan, with an average age of 35 years old, including 849 editorial staff, 234 engineering and technical personnel, 116 comprehensive management personnel, 458 with intermediate titles, 164 with senior titles, and an average age of 39 years old above the intermediate level; There are 68 cadres at the division level, with an average age of 47 years.
