Sichuan Satellite TV, which began in 1994, is a satellite channel under Sichuan Radio and Television Station, which has formed a nationwide coverage through satellite TV reception antennas and cable TV networks in large and medium-sized cities and towns across the country

Sichuan Satellite TV, a satellite channel under Sichuan Radio and Television Station, was launched in October 1994. Since August 1, 2003, the Asia-2 (100.5 degrees east longitude) satellite 9B transponder has been used for digital signal transmission, and the program covers the whole province, the whole country and Southeast Asia. In 2011, Sichuan Satellite TV officially established the brand logo "China Love". Since its broadcast, Sichuan Satellite TV has successively launched "2 Days and 1 Night of the Star Family", "China Love Song Club", "Chinese Positive Energy", "Charm Discovery", "I Know", "Let's Cross" and other ace programs with good reputation and ratings. The HD channel began to test in the province on December 1, 2013, and was officially launched on September 28, 2014 and broadcast simultaneously with the SD channel. On December 25, 2015, Sichuan Satellite TV HD channel was broadcast on the satellite (Zhongxing 6A (125.0 °E)).

On January 21, 2010, the establishment ceremony of Sichuan Radio and Television Station was held in Chengdu Jinniu Hotel. Huang Xinchu, former member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Minister of Propaganda, and now member of the Standing Committee of the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee of the Communist Party of China and Secretary of the Chengdu Municipal Party Committee, and Huang Yanrong, Vice Governor of Chengdu City, attended the ceremony and awarded the plaque to Sichuan Radio and Television Station.
